Gallup Obama approval numbers suggest shifting Electoral College map
The Washington Examiner ^ | JANUARY 29, 2014 | Michael Barone

Gallup has released President Obama's approval numbers for 2013 for the 50 states and the District of Columbia. I thought it would be interesting to compare those percentages with Obama's percentage of the 2012 popular vote in each state and D.C. His approval numbers seem to track closely with his percentage of the vote: his job approval nationally was 50 percent in the first week of November 2012, and he received 51 percent of the popular vote. Gallup conducts many interviews over the course of a year, and so its figures for each state are statistically meaningful, although I think that the error margin in small states is probably pretty large.

Gallup makes the mistake of talking to only actual legally qualified voters. Weren’t they the only poll which had Romney narrowly winning in 2012, albeit within the margin of error?

Does not matter.

The Republicrat Party is now just a bit of “stuff” that will soon die off, leaving us with only the current pond scum.

Face it, we are doomed, at least until after CW-II.

Egypt’s Morsi and our Democrat’s Obama have the same Muslim Brotherhood mentality, and thus both men are opposed to the Common Law basis of American Culture.

The American-based logic system falls on the deaf ears of both men.

Both men have a “Big Picture” mentality of destroying their existing societies in order to establish their version of the Muslim Brotherhood System of governance.

Their responses during and after the 2012 Benghazi Murders were the most revealing insights into their shared Muslim Brotherhood values.

Neither Morsi or Obama can be reasoned with by their countrymen. Their Muslim Brotherhood Mentality prevents them from doing so.

Any opposition to their plans is used by them to strengthen their conviction that their plans are correct.

Egypt has figured all this is out, when will America do the same?

Mr Barone is usually very good, but he misses the 800 lb gorilla in this one.
He missed the under reported (except on FR) fact that the Republicans do not really want to win more than one or the other Houses of Congress.
I can guarantee that between now and November 4, you will see something incredibly stupid, scandalous or criminal from one or more high ranking Republicans. Real or manufactured doesn't matter since the MSM , with help from the GOPe will run with it all the way to election day.

Barone is a smart guy, but he's asking the wrong question.

The right question is, how well will THE FIRST WOMAN PRESIDENT EVAH!! do, state by state, with the media 110% in her corner??

In 2016 the “media” will only matter to the extent that we let it. Chris Christie’s greatest contribution to Republican victory in 2016 was to illustrate, once and for all, that the media WILL, without doubt, destroy any Republican whom they created or reinforced in the first place.

The crazy thing is that Obama, as popular with the media as he was, didn’t rely upon it for his victory in 2012. His campaign had DEEP and VARIED set of lines in to his target voters, whom he identified, registered, emailed/texted/tweeted, and got to the polls by old fashioned means paired with highest technology organization.

I agree with that, except to note they'd be happy to lose the House. GOPe does not want to lead anything, not even a horse to water.

What is CW-II?

CW-II stands for our dream ticket. It stands for Cruz/Wilson (Joe, of the "You Lie" fame). The II is a roman numeral which indicates the SECOND fundamental transformation of America... back to the way it was.
