A conservative group is launching a new campaign which calls on "the GOP leadership in both the House and the Senate to step aside."

ForAmerica told CNN that it's putting six figures behind its "Dump the Leadership" campaign between now and November's leadership elections.

The group says that its digital ads will target House Speaker John Boehner, Majority Leader Eric Cantor and Majority Whip Kevin McCarthy, as well as Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell and Minority Whip John Cornyn, and the group adds that the first paid spots are now up online.

"Time and again, year after year, the Republican leadership in the House and Senate has come to grassroots conservatives, and Tea Party supporters pleading for our money, our volunteers, our time, our energy and our votes,"(continued)

Dan Patrick is a fraud. He ran as “a man of the people” but turned as soon as he saw the opportunity that elected office offers. He supported Dewhurst.

“..if only the RNC actually used them instead of FIGHTING them, Bush’s 2nd term would not have been such a disaster.”

That decision was as much Dubya’s as it was the RNCs. Bush was no conservative and he surrounded himself with advisers who thought like he did.

What's up with Thune? He was brought in by George Allen who I thought was
solid Conservative, both of them.

We are dealing with Congre$$-critters not coyotes, they haven’t proven to be smart enough to see the handwriting on the wall much less their own skins.

just look at Juan McCain, he is pushing back after being censured. They think they are invincible.

McCain definitely needs to be hanging on the fence right along side Lindsey Grahamnesty. To be clear however, I do not support a mass purge action at the federal level. We need precision strikes there, not carpet bombing and we need to focus on consolidating and expanding our hold on state and local level governments. If we were capable of replacing every single RINO with a tea party republican, I would support a purge. We are not capable of that however. We proved that with Murdock and Akin among others.

Ditch Mitch, by any means necessary.

It would be a mistake to not accept all the help we can get in this battle we conservatives find ourselves in with the corrupt and treacherous Republicans targeted in this new campaign, IMO.

I got some mail today from a group called “Conservative Republicans of Texas” run by a Dr. Steven F. Hotze, location not apparent. They are for Dan Patrick but also Cornball and George P.!

Dr Hotze is from Houston and he has been connected in the media to some really (flaky?) sounding political events/stunts IIRC.

Give to the individual candidate, not the GOPe money launderers.

Good advice.

I completely agree. I knew him and his ways even back when he was a sports reporter for our local CBS TV station in Houston. As I learned over time it became clear (even before his TX Senate run) that he was nothing but a wolf in sheep's clothing and he came across to me as a lying and a manipulative Libertarian. He is a fraud IMHO beginning with his name: Dan Goeb Patrick was born Daniel Scott Goeb April 4, 1950

Just because Dr *Wellness* Hotze has a “conservative” front group supporting flaky Dan Patrick, Slimey Conrball and GP Bush, doesn’t mean they’ll get elected.

Hotze hosts a radio show on the same radio station Patrick has (or had - not sure, as I haven’t listened in years) a show on.

This front group, CRoT, is about as conservative as the Mark Zuckerburg/Karl Rove *conservative* groups. No thanks!

As another poster mentioned...DONATE DIRECTLY TO THE CANDIDATES!!
Cut out the (faux) front groups.

Do you live in KY Paladin? Just wondering what the local “buzz” on the street might be about the Senate Election.
