Please show me where she ever said she was running for office in 2012. I’ll wait.

Sarah Palin's FaceBook Page
February 12, 2014

God Bless the legacy of our 16th President. He served with honesty and integrity, held our nation together in the worst of times, understood and assured the blessings of liberty for all Americans, and didn’t succumb to the special interests that would destroy our Union for personal gain. With foresight towards developing our natural resources, the man Lincoln appointed as his Secretary of State wisely purchased the territory of Alaska. This President truly understood the heart of the United States. He gave his last full measure of devotion to keep our nation as one and secure the foundation of those truths we still hold self-evident.

To quote his immortal words, it is for us the living to be dedicated to the task remaining before us. The United States deserves leaders that ascribe to the simple principles that guided this great man. From a log cabin in Kentucky to the White House, he espoused the American ideal of truth and honesty. He didn’t shy from controversy, and the fire of freedom burned bright within him and guided him throughout his life.

May all our elected officials take a long look at what made Lincoln a great leader. Our elected officials have from our history the perfect example of selfless leadership.

On this, Abraham Lincoln’s 205th birthday, please take a moment to reflect on what it means to be a God-fearing leader, a great president, and a true American. Ask yourself if our politicians and influential celebrities who shape society live up to Lincoln’s shining example, and if not, hold them accountable instead of rewarding them with continued privilege. It’s our nation, and Lincoln gave his life to assure that it remained the “last best hope on earth.”

Happy Birthday, Honest Abe!

The kabuki theater was created by the press. It’s what they do.

Ben Carson will be a great benefit to the country one day, that is, if he doesn’t get ‘Breitbarted’ by you know who. However, if Mr. Ben has any electoral ambitions, he should start small, get elected as committeeman, or mayor of some out of the way hamlet, then use the next 10 years to build up a portfolio of political accomplishments. Then again, someone like Dr. Ben could easily become the next Surgeon General by either party. He seems very easy to like and trust.

At risk of using the dreaded double-negative; Sarah never did NOT say she was running. In other words, she allowed the dogs of rumor to run wild, whipping up all manner of excitement by Tea Party groups and terror by the Socialist-wanna-be Dems.

So if I don’t deny that I’m running in 2016, you assume that I am?

If Wiki has it right, there are exactly two Republicans who’ve either pulled papers with the FEC or otherwise publicly indicated they’re running. Unless you’re a complete political geek, you’ve never heard of either of them. If she’s teasing two years out, so is everybody else who might run.

Well, Yes I would make that assumption, especially if one’s day to day activities were those of a typical candidate. I;m thinking of that posterized bus tour she went on. I wish she had run. I still think, she or someone in her family recieved some sort of threat about how unpleasant things would get were she to run. Many GOPs were actively working against Sarah and rejecting what her approach to governing was likely to be, with very little cronyism; the opposite of Obama (and most other Presidents). The Bushies did not like that at all.

[cough] Karl Rove [cough] Nicole Wallace [cough] Steve Schmidt [cough]

They burned her church down to the ground with women & children still inside. You can't send much more of a threatening message than that, can you?

I don’t see a tease there. I don’t think she will run. However, her comments indicate she has considered it, and I believe her intent was to let people know the sacrifice it takes to make that kind of commitment. Nothing more...

“So if I don’t deny that I’m running in 2016, you assume that I am?”

If Santorum, or Hillary does not deny they are running, you assume they are and that goes for Palin now and Palin in 2012.

Tease? You adopt the language of the left? Not cool.

Watch this short video. Listen to Todd’s opinion of her running for president and then followed up by Sarah’s. btw, in direct response to the reporter’s question.

Sarah just tears the bulls-eye out of any target. The woman is always correct... always relevant and always dead on subject!

Just, no. You did this last time, Sarah. Not fooled again.

I think accusing Sarah of teasing is a mischaracterization.

In any event, I believe that Sarah wasn't ready to go all-in last time, and she saw the reality of the fact that the phony Messiah was going to get his 8 phony messianic years.

If Sarah Palin runs in 2016, she will be a frontrunner.

I don't see potential as great as Sarah's anywhere else in the GOP, or, more precisely, in the TEA party crowd. There may be a couple of gentlemen who might come close.

I really do find your personal antipathy towards Sarah Palin disheartening, however. Clearly, she will have some work to do with those like you who have soured on her.

To me, she seems like our best hope, by far, and the negative response by some patriots to Palin's behavior in previous election cycles just seems to me to be nearly hysterical.

I just don't think any conservative/libertarian who is serious about changing the system in a peaceful way should revel in bashing Sarah Palin.

If Sarah throws her hat in, and then makes it through, I just hope you will give her a fair hearing, and not perpetuate a grudge.

I watched it.

WOW.

Todd standing in that big workshop, beautiful big clean shed. I know people like that. Real Americans who do stuff, who know how to do things.

Thanks for posting that link. Holy cow. God bless and protect Sarah Palin and her family.

... Palin/Cruz ticket for 2016. Hey, I can dream can’t I?!...

That would be sweet. Even sweeter would be if Hillary got the Democrat nomination. Then it would be super duper sweet. Hillary would be consigned regardless to the status of the Wicked Witch of the East to Palin's Glinda. It would be glorious.

Hey, I can dream too, can't I? {^)
