Barbara Bush may believe her son Jeb should pass on a 2016 bid because there have been enough Bushes in the White House already. But her husband, former President George H.W. Bush, disagrees and thinks Jeb should go for it.
So revealed Jeb’s younger brother, Neil Bush, in an interview with CNN on Thursday that shed additional light on the conflicting sentiments within the former first clan about another potential Bush presidential run. Neil Bush spoke about his father’s desire to see another son seek the White House and said Barbara Bush’s cautionary words won’t affect Jeb Bush’s decision.
The comments from Neil Bush came amid feverish speculation about what the former Florida governor will do and were among the most candid, on-the-record assessments from someone inside the close-knit family.
Neil Bush described the reaction from his family when his mom said ahead of an event at the George W. Bush presidential library in Texas that there had been “enough Bushes” in the White House.
“We’re sitting in the waiting room of the hotel waiting to go to the Bush library event, and mom said that, we were all watching Jeb standing over in the corner nervously, just, like, what’s your response to that?”(continued)

I had a scary thought (besides another Bush moving into the White House)... I thought who actually would move in after the Obamas got done with the White Hut? Seems like a “last tenant” kind of scenario, with the Obamas leaving it uninhabitable after squatting in there for so long. And you know how much trouble it is these days to remove squatters. Ugh.
Nah Jeb wont run. He should consider being VP though.

All of these spoilers are there to divide the vote so we can’t get a real conservative nominee. Please unite in the primary so they can’t slip through the cracks like they always do. Things are dire. It’s over if we can’t do this.
A well organized effort is going on both within the GOP-E and media to make certain nothing changes policy wise meaning the supporting of GOP-E as front runners. I want a POTUS who is looking out for the USA and not focused on their long time Trade buddies in Communist China.
If they run Bush, it will be the end of the republican party.
Barbara is right.
The man is weeks away from being 90 years-old. Which is terrific, the Bushes seem to stay thin and have good longevity. But notice that the libs trot out Republicans when they are ancient and have gone “soft” politically, or in the in case of GHWB, even softer than he was already. They are pulling the same stunt with Bob Dole. Like they did with Barry Goldwater in his waning years.
We don’t need any more Bushes. They are recipe for electoral defeat or, if they win, Establishment liberalism (Rockefeller Republicanism).
