Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) has yet to endorse a candidate in the Tennessee primary, but incumbent Sen. Lamar Alexander has already recruited him for an event in his state.
The two senators will host a healthcare roundtable discussion in Nashville on June 30 with Tennessee healthcare executives and professionals to discuss the effects of Obamacare.
Although the discussion is closed to the press, the two senators will hold media availability after the event.

I hope he's not on the ticket.
The worm has turned. A conservative needs to run against Rand.
I totally agree with your assessment. The thing that troubles me is that Rand just seems to want it too badly. I think he needs to stay in the senate and do good work there.
Ol’ Randy needs to get a blast of the Cantor treatment..and soon. His running for CIC was once a distant thought, now even the name means nothing. This vote has vanished and will not be seen by him.
Great description of Randie ;-)
Politics certainly is ugly. Let's make it a LOT uglier for accommodationist trash like Rand Paul. Supporting Thad Cockroach??? REALLY????
Let the Establishment suck up get a seat from his pals on the board of directors of Amalgamated Veeblefritzer for his post-Senate income and for kneepad services rendered. REMEMBER MISSISSIPPI!!!!
Thanks. Sometimes your fingers just type what you are really thinking. LOL
I think you are wrong and these type even fought Reagan after he gained the nomination. They even tried to pull Gerald Ford out of retirement and some managed to run a third party candidate against him. This idea that they will some how come together to win is ridiculous. Look how they worked against Palin even after they got their man McCain. They pretend they aren’t ideologues but they are.
