First of all, I obeyed him by not supporting either candidate that chose to disobey Him.

That kept my hands clean of sinning in that situation.

Secondly, you have a strange idea of what using God's name in vain is. It certainly is not biblical in its roots.

Thirdly, you can blame the GOP and Romney and maybe yourself for voting for Romney, for bringing Obama into power.

I had absolutely nothing to do with it.

Let me repeat, those who engage in sin, those who support sin, and those who support those whom they know are engaged in sin, are sinning themselves.

Unlike you, I cannot compartmentalize my life allowing me to apply my Christianity to those parts that are not political and allowing me to use a whole other set of rules for my political life.

Your life with Christ, your Christianity, was meant to be applied with the same vigor to all aspects of your life. It was not meant to be used whenever you think it is applicable or convenient.

Furthermore, your walk with Christ demands 100% submission to God's rules, you cannot, you must not, decide on your own, that you can accept actions that God calls sinful, either in yourself or in others.

And Romney would have done the same thing, only what is worse, he would have done it under the flag of the GOP totally alienating Christian conservatives and destroying the base of the GOP, exactly as he did in Massachusetts.

Romney, after declaring he was Pro-Life at CPAC in January 2012, came out on August 27th, 2012 AFTER he had won the nomination and flat out lied about his position on Abortion during the campaign:

The Supreme Court appointments of Obama alone have guaranteed the killing of babies will go on for generations. What a misguided person you are.
