Posted on 07/19/2014 9:55:17 PM PDT by 2ndDivisionVet
There are three questions surrounding Hillary Clinton: Will she run? If she runs, will she win? And if she wins, will she be President Barack Obama in a skirt or Bill Clinton in a pantsuit?
Will She Run? The Hillary Inevitability, far in advance of the 2016 U.S. presidential election, has a déjà vu all over again atmospheric. That's because 2008 was really supposed to be Hillarys year: She had the highest name recognition, deep financing, major political backers and her politically canny husband to game-plan campaign tactics.
But a funny thing happened on the way to the nomination: "Black swan" Senator Barak Obama ate Hillarys lunch with adroit use of caucus voters, great speeches, and a legend (first serious black presidential candidate), Hillary couldnt match.
Hillary now has spent six years mulling over errors of commission and omission. During this entracte, she has been secretary of state, written (with adroit ghosts) an elephant-choker book (Hard Decisions), and awaits the arrival of her first grandchild.
Now it is Hillarys time. Polls suggest overwhelming (and rising) percentages of respondents support her as the Democratic nominee. One poll says 63 per cent of Democrats would vote for her (versus 12 percent for Biden as next closest). Other names are single digits and media-bruited-about Senator Elizabeth Warren barely registers and is a chattering-class scarecrow designed to pull Clinton leftward.
This time there is no black swan in ambush. Essentially, only Hillary can derail Hillary. Two questions emerge: health and desire.....

She won’t win. She’ll be crowned the queen by the America haters.
She couldn’t even beat the community organizer.
Hilary is an empty pants suit. A big one, but empty.
Run, Hillaryous, run.
More like Karl Marx in a skirt, or a pantload in a pantsuit.
“...but she will struggle” as she is thrown into a prison cell for her many, many crimes.
does this guy write this article for every candidate? :o)
I saw a photo of her in a dress, and it wasn’t all that long ago.
I never want to see anything like that ever again. Ever.
One hopes that she is the Dem nominee.
Pretty much. Never say never of course, but there will be even fewer Conservative voters in 2016 than we have now. And there will be more OibTard voters. (Demographics etc.) As much as there can be a shoe in ... Hidabeast is a shoe in. “They” are adding voters. We are losing them.
She’ll run and she’ll win, the Repubs got no one to run against her. The real talent they have won’t be picked, the old farts will again pick another looser who is praised by the media. There lies the problem, the inner circle of cronies choose the candidate. I’d love to see a cat fight with Condalesa Rice & Palin vs Hillary and her choice. A first woman Presidential candidate who is a black woman pushed by the racist Republicans? Do you really think they have the guts to do it? Naaaaah.
Secretary Rice is way too liberal.
People will vote for her because she is going to be a grandmother. smh
“her politically canny husband to game-plan campaign tactics”
And the myth is perpetuated. Truth is, GOP ate his lunch. He snapped to center so fast that second term heads are still spinning.
Two words: Ross Perot.
Nope she won’t even get out of the staring blocks
power that be have decided for us.
Win... okay... win like a monkey elected to tame tigers at a circus.
I disagree—she is over the hill. IF, she did win—she would be better than Obama but not as good as Bush—even Jeb Bush. I think she will be put aside due to her health.
She wasn't the absolute worst choice for the Nation - she didn't get our support like Obama did.....
But as the article said you can't be somebody with nobody. And a nobody is who the GOPe are likely to nominate.
IMHO, this weekend at Camp David is an intervention to be followed by intense detox on Martha's Vineyard during 8/9 - 8/24...................
