Whatever is necessary to sink Cochran,the thieving, cheating, race-baiting scumbag, I AM IN!
Let’s make sure the Dem candidate wins — that will be the result of Cochran and McDaniel splitting the Republican vote.

Oh please. The Senate GOP leadership has surrendered to Obama/Reid. Even if Republicans gain a majority there will be zero Conservative leadership with McConnell in charge.

Electing Thad Cochran would not achieve that.
D’s and R’s are both sinking the ship at their varying rates of speed. The D’s want all out amnesty for illegals and the R’s want all out amnesty with feel good “border security” legislation coming first.
The D’s want Obamacare with Progressive bells and whistles...the R’s want to replace Obamacare with Romneycare that still saddles everyone with higher health insurance costs and a mandate for everyone to buy it.....
However, Cochran is only the symptom...the poor guy is merely a puppet; this virus has to be ripped out of the republican party and Cochran is as good a place as any to start.
To make it easy, why couldn't the voters just vote for the 3rd party candidate? Also, my apologies for thinking you and others over reacted on election night. Once everything became clear a few days later, I realized I was wrong.

There’s still a chance for McDaniel to achieve his rightful place on the ballot as the Republican candidate. But, failing that, defeating the despicable Cochran and the amnesty minded Mississippi GOPe is our major priority and must be achieved AT ANY COST.
The only way to insure that Cochran is defeated is to VOTE FOR CHILDERS. A vote for a 3rd party is simply a “not a Cochran vote” but a vote for Childers actually nullifies the vote of some misguided soul who is voting for the “lesser of two evils”.
Defeat Cochran by voting for Childers. We must NOT allow the GOPe’s evil deeds in Mississippi to be rewarded with victory. If we do, it will become the modus operandi of the GOPe EVERYWHERE.
He has a right to run a spoiler write-in campaign.
Unfortunately, Dave, third party runs have a deadline that has long since passed.
Cochran is being controlled by the Barbor/Hoseman/Bryant machine to ensure they always have a RINO incumbent bringing the pork home. They’ll have Thad retire to be replaced by one of their goons soon enough.
I’m glad you have identified this as the cancer it is, and I in turn apologize if my own comments were hotheaded on election night and since. After all these years, 2010, 2012, and now 2014, with Karl Rove and his friends working like hell to destroy decent men and women, citizen candidates and small town conservative politicians with every smear tactic in the book that they dare not use against Democrats... I really have a short fuse when it comes to this kind of thing.

Nobody here will advocate voting for the Democrat, but not voting in that particular election is a real option
Here we go again. Once again I have to reveal the logic of the best of two evils. Here it is! If McDaniel loses all chance then we have to consider that the next best thing is to make sure that we have to accept another poor R in the Senate. The Senate takeover by the Republicans is just as important as an R was during the 2012 President run. We have suffered with turning down Romney and you got King Obama. Does anyone realize what they have done. Do it in the Senate in 2014 and then you have destroyed what is left to America. (forgive my poor explaining since I am very very old and health is a problem)

Sorry Agamemnon, you can call me what you wish but I for one am not going to bend over and grab my ankles for the GOPe and support Cochran. I think it essential that he and McConnell be defeated this year as the consequence for their “war on the Tea Party”.

That is what I told the Republican solicitor that called me today. I told him no money from me, as I have told five or six others, unless they just plain withdraw and disavow Cochran.
He said that is what Obama wants and I told him what difference does it make, a democrat big government tool or a republican big government tool?
Mississippi was a real breaking point for me after years of being a broken glass Republican.
