DENVER (AP) -- Republicans are taking a big lead in early voting in Colorado.
A report from the Secretary of State on Friday showed that 104,000 more Republicans than Democrats had cast their ballots as the state conducts its first major mail-in election.
Voters can also drop off ballots at polling stations and register through Election Day....

It always seems to me that during the last eight elections, every one of these enemedia stories about republican votes being greater than democrat votes is a klaxon call for more fraud.
Kinda like, “Hey, dems? We need more fraud over here! Focus your efforts a little more.”
Colorado ping.
Changing tagline.
Of course the numbers and per-centages are all important, but massive Republican turnout in early voting only leaves the enemy with a make up strategy ....
They know how many votes to invent and whether it will be blatant or not.
I would rather early polls show dims ahead .... WE'D be the ones waiting in the wings to come on stage for the finalr.
Exactly
it’s not good in NC the Dem’s are up 15% vs the Republicans
Moreover, don't count on the fact that they are voting for Democrats, many Democrats are voting GOP this year.
I agree....
Now if Gore had won HIS OWN STATE...he would have won the election without Florida.
That’s true, but 100,000 votes is a tremendous amount to make up by fraud in a couple of days. 10,000 is absolutely possible, but I am actually cautiously optimistic with such a large margin.
I’m inclined to agree.
I’m not crazy about early voting but I’m definitely opposed to the release of results, percentages, etc.
Elections officials invite shady practice when they provide a target and, as usual, the media are irresponsible with the information.
Early voting tallies are meaningless. I remember on this board all the hand wringing and microanalysis of how well Ohio early voting was going in 2012. We know how that turned out.
That just tells them how many votes they need to manufacture by election day.
Dem election officials are looking for locations to "misplace" these ballots as we speak.
Oh my, you have to be kidding me. Is our early voting gotten that much better in 2 years?
