I saw that too, and thought that made sense since this piece is a good start on one. In this guys universe, the Republicans were effective from the start in being able to obstruct Obamas agenda. In this world, Obama had a majority in the House and a veto-proof majority in the Senate. In this world, Obama arrogantly announced to the Republican Congressional minorities that I won, and their opinions didnt matter to him. And they were, according to Obama, not to listen to a respected commentator (Limbaugh).
The novelists world has it that since some conservatives had bruited some of the ideas in Obamacare, Obama had a right to expect Republican support for the measure. In the real world, the Affordable Care Act was voted in by the Democrat majority in the House on a we have to pass it to see whats in it basis. Sight unseen. In our novelists world, no evidence has arisen to indicate that ObamaCare was at all susceptible of improvement. In the real world, Obama lied that If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor. And, If you like your (health care) plan, you can keep your plan. In the real world, you couldnt (I personally couldnt keep my plan). In the real world the Affordable Care Act isnt affordable, and threatens to seriously compromise the quality of our health care. In the real world, Obama arbitrarily gives waivers to some people but not others, and arbitrarily delays enforcement of some of the bitterest medicine in his act until after tomorrows election.
In the novelists world there can be no legitimate objection to a POTUS flouting US immigration law rather than tak[ing] care that the law be faithfully enforced. In the novelists world Benghazi never happened, and neither did the rise of ISIS. Nor VA gate, nor IRS gate, nor . . .
OK, I stand corrected.
But I'll bet that he carries a purse.
