Oh, poor poor Kelly. There there.
Some of us out here outside the beltway can’t afford to see shows, and don’t get extended holiday breaks. To us, your bitching sounds like a Bel Air teen whining because her parents gave her the wrong color Mercedes for her birthday.
To think this twit was once a tea party darling. She sipped the GOPe koolaid as soon as McCain handed it to her.

I hope every one of them miss the entire holiday. I really don’t care if they go home or not. The fate of the future of our country is more important than their plans.
Every nurse dr and other holiday worker is there because they need to be.
Welcome to the working world legislators.

On Saturday, GOP senator after GOP senator teed off on Cruz, arguing that his strategy had blindsided the caucus,
No. A 1,600 page bad bill blindsided the caucus. Cruz has been telegraphing his moves for the last two years, and they still get "blind-sided"?

“Senior Republicans say theres a problem with Cruzs strategy: The GOP lacks the votes to stop Obama on immigration now, the $1.1 trillion spending package was speeding to passage, and they wont resort to shutting down the government to mount their objections. Plus, the weekend session could allow Obama to get even more of his nominees confirmed.”
So, how can the Republicans stop Obamas picks for the court? Fact is, Obama is getting his nominees regardless. Cruz wants everyone on record. Why are people afraid?

The GOPe “Vichy Republicans” don’t want to be on the record, that’s the point.

Exactly. The minute she hitched her wagon to the McLindsey jackass crew, it was over for her.

Other conservatives who may run for president, like Marco Rubio of Florida, said that while hed back a short-term spending bill to defund the immigration order, he was skeptical such a strategy could work.I would love to defund the immigration order. I just dont know how were ever going to do that if the president is going to veto it, Rubio said in an interview earlier this week. It doesnt mean we shouldnt try, if theres a way to do it, I would support it. But I think we have to be realistic because the president will veto it.
That's why you make defunding the immigration EO part of the spending bill. Cruz is the only Republican willing to fight with the enemy. The rest seem mostly inclined to cowering in their fox holes. We will remember your cowardice you pusillanimous poltroons.

Several Republicans were discussing whether to mount a protest vote against Cruz: Unite in opposition to his point-of-order challenging the constitutionality of the spending bills funding of Obamas immigration move. Do it, GOP-E! I dare you to do it!

If they don’t set a position on principle NOW they will have a helluva time doing it later when they “have the votes.” The trouble is the “leaders” or rather “enforcers” won’t stand on anything like principle later or ever. Their principle is getting a piece of the Corruption Pie.
