Vanity: Something To Speculate. Is Marco Rubio Secretly Running For Vice-President?

Posted on 01/31/2015 7:45:58 PM PST by Cruz_West_Paul2016

Marco Rubio For President? Sounds like a long shot, right?,Could this be Rubio's "Operation VP" plan? Just go ahead and run for President knowing his chances are 1 in 10, but also aware that his chances of being the VP pick may be closer to 1 in 3. But there is one benefit, it may be worth it being we have to win Florida! Rubio should stay within the top five throughout the primaries and when Walker or Cruz wins, he knows he will be on the short list. Do most of us agree?

Some people have been suggesting that Walker/Rubio might be a strong ticket.

He’s too divisive. His career is similar to Obama’s.

Rubio would be in trouble regardless of amnesty.

I think Jeb only has a 20 or 30% chance of being the nominee in 6 way race. The field is still likely.

I think Walker/Jindal/Pence type candidate is what the establishment really wants instead of Bush who can be beat up and pushed back against by the conservative congress and liberal general opponent.

If, God forbid, Jebbie Bush is the nominee, then Marco Rubio cannot be a VP pick.

The Constitution stipulates that the President and Vice-President can’t be from the same state, correct?

Assuming anyone cares about the Constitution anymore, after Obama, his fellow rats and the GOPe have trashed it.

I do not want to start a fight or create any controversy, but I have a question that has been kinda nagging at me.
Other than getting elected what has Ted Cruz actually accomplished? he sound good. Very good! But, I still cannot think of a single piece of legislation he has written and got passed.

I think Jeb only has a 20 or 30% chance of being the nominee in 6 way race. The field is still likely.

McCain and Romney both won the Republican nomination by winning 25-30% of the votes in each primary. In a 6-way race, that's enough to claim an entire state's votes in a "winner-take-all" contest.

Neither McCain nor Romney won a majority in a Republican primary until they'd already clinched the nomination and everybody else had dropped out.

i think a lot of conservatives will be in a tossup between Cruz&Walker. I am, I cant decide between the two. its like going to one of those 32 flavor ice-cream parlors and cant choose between chunky monkey and Stuttering Liberal Mint Chip.

Only at the time the EC votes for the Pres and VP. They could easily fix that before such a vote.

25 percent for Jebbie is a walkaway nomination in a crowded field, as you indicate.
