Seriously? So if we are all swearing at each other to show passion, then the message will be understood and reach the target...

By golly I did not think anyone could assume that screaming and swearing is why the left is winning...I asked because I could not believe that was your logic.

The left is winning because they have taken over the entertainment industry, the media, and the education of kids today. Obscenity is a by-product, but not the reason.

OH I am not a “pearl clutcher,” and I believe that there is a place for passion though it really does not require obscenity.

And I can scream and cuss with the best of them—truly I can—and I have spiced up a comment for emphasis—but more often it is when I lose control of my emotions—which is never wise to do.

To assume that by simply lacing a conversation or post with profanity will automatically make it more effective is ridiculous. People will just think person can’t express themselves except by reverting to lower common denominator...Screaming obscenities may have an effect temporarily, but it’s effectiveness wears off.

Let’s see how many people are changed by your post laced with all caps, asterisks, and profanity...I doubt you will convince many of anything.

Feel free to join the left—you know...”Nasty woman” Ashley Judd, Madonna, Bill Mahr et al...where they scream and shout obscenities from big mics, but frankly, if that is what it takes to win the country back, I am not sure I will want to live in the screaming obscene society that survives.

I am not lecturing you...and I was not talking about the “dangers of being conservative”...What happened to Scalise has nothing to do with swearing and screaming...Unless your “battlefields” are more physical than oratory.

I merely tried to educate you because you have a very narrow focus of what constitutes “the battlefield”...As I said the left has taken over education, media, entertainment. And swearing is not necessarily an integral part of those institutions—especially with young children where the inculcating begins. Actually, You are the one who was lecturing about how we all need to get out and start swearing...

I did not say anything about you not being conservative, but you seem to be committed to using the left’s “business model.” (Hence, you are joining them.) So go for it...get out on the “battlefield” and start screaming and swearing. Then please do report back to us how many minds you changed with your “thoughtful” dialogs.
