The passion of Obama’s and Trump’s voter bases was evident in their respective signs. I saw homemade Obama and homemade Trump signs. I never saw homemade McCain, Romney or Hillary signs.

Then they could go back to their constituents and say "just give us a Republican President and we'll be able to fix things - we promise!"

Anyone who didn’t think Trump would win in the primaries and in November had to believe that Americans either didn’t notice that the country was being dismantled and was being invaded by Mexicans and Muslims—or that they were fine with it. (And Republicans finally caught on that the dismantling of America was promoted by every President starting with GHW Bush.)
Hillary stole six states, and tried to steal five others. She failed because Trump won in a landslide. We will soon know for sure that Trump won the popular vote.
Another example of the stupidity of some elected Republicans. Why would they ever discuss anything with the hostile MSM? Do they think the “jounalist” is going to quote them in a favorable manner. New York Magazine is a worthless leftist propaganda outfit.

Britain didn’t expect the trouble at Suez to become a big deal.
The Shah wasn’t expecting Khomeinei to succeed in the overthrow.
You don’t want politicians who are taken so unawares. Anyone can be surprised. There is no defense against that. But do something. React. Adapt. Overcome.
Trump would be able to handle this. The Democrats? Obviously not.
