I believe the family sold the Hyatts, back when Bob Pritzker was alive and decided to break up the family trusts after his two youngest kids (an entire generation younger than the older ones) sued him and the older sibs & cousins for allegedly cheating them out of their inheritance.
I suggest the Pritzker family pay off the debts of Illinois, Chicago and Cook County out of their personal holdings. They are each worth multi-billions and there are a lot of them. It will make a small dent in the obligations and they will be broke, but it would be FAIR.
I’m amazed at all these formally “all mighty federal government democrats” who have suddenly embraced the states right movement that conservatives have been pushing for years....
The Pritzkers have bad history with Trump going back to the 1980s.
They tried to dick him over in a business deal.
He ended up dicking THEM.
This allowing communists to call themselves “Progressives” BS has got to stop.

I left Illinois in 2009 to take a job in GA. I still own property in Illinois that I need to sell. The city of Chicago, where I was born and raised, is a toilet with 400 deaths from guns YTD and counting.
Peoria, a once thriving headquarters of Caterpillar and other global companies is dying.
It will only take someone like a Pritzker as governor to take the once great and prosperous state over the edge.
Illinois will come back and be great again, but not until it throws off the yoke of tax and spend democrats.
