I think judge Moore was rightfully removed from office by the State of Alabama. Twice.
He was derelict in his duty to enforce legal judicial rulings, regardless of what we think of them.
There’s a great deal of public debate on whether the 10 Commandments Display should be funded and enabled by any level of government, but there is NO legal debate. It is, in effect, settled law.
Additionally, he ordered lower court judges to disregard the USSC ruling on homo marriage. While I and many others here have a sympathetic view of that action, it was a clear violation of law and the Jurisprudence of the nation.
Judge Moore puts his interpretation of God’s law above his duty to effect man’s law as called out under the Constitution, the United States Code and 200 years of American Jurisprudence.
The American people should be able to count on a Judge to carry out the law of the land.
However, and elected politician has far more leeway in how they act.
