If you are upset about President Donald Trump's position on NFL players who kneel during the national anthem -- an opinion he colorfully expressed in a speech in Alabama and in a series of follow-up tweets -- take a deep breath and listen.
There's good reason to believe that public opinion is on his side.
Understanding this doesn't mean that you are wrong or that your feelings are not valid; it just means that the President has again found a winning cultural issue with which to solidify his standing in Middle America.
Last September, Reuters conducted a survey in the wake of Colin Kaepernick's "taking a knee" for the national anthem and found that, although a majority said he had a constitutionally protected right to protest, 72% of Americans thought his display was "unpatriotic," and 61% disagreed with him doing it.
And that was a survey among all Americans. For President Trump, that survey last year may well have offered a clue. And the loud "boos" ringing in several NFL stadiums across the country this weekend lead me to believe it was one he read accurately -- that many actual football fans lean toward the President's feelings.....

Given that the average NFL fan is much closer to Trump’s demo than Hillary’s, what the players, owners and League are doing is a really dumb strategy.

But America always changes its opinion when it bullies them - look at gay marriage. Now that Trump pushed the issue, big business it taking up the issue. And pretty soon, American will follow along like they have before.

Their calculation is that media and black employee backlash would be worse than that from some customers, so they sided with the employees - for now. Then you have craven idiots like JJ last night who tried to split the baby and look like even bigger fools.
They don’t care about the fans or money.
They care about, what Tom Wolfe called, status-spheres. People live in their own sphere and they gain or lose status within that sphere. To the New York CEOs and their top execs, the Trump voters are a mystery. They have no idea how Hillary lost (neither does she).
They know about getting awards for their latest PC culture adventure. They know - as all elites do - that we have an open borders, no borders, global economy and the only threat they face is ‘global warming’ and fear their various maids and nannies might get deported by Trump.
They DON’T CARE about the public or their customers.
If it were just about making a buck, why aren’t there multiple conservative news channels on the air?
The actual strategy is this:
Hillary lost. Why? NATIONALISM.
Nationalism - love of the US of A cannot be allowed. We need Americans to hate their country so they’ll give in to open borders and one world government.
How to do that? Attack the history and the heroes. Take down Washington and Jefferson. Apologize for our winning various wars. We are evil white invaders and who are we to have borders or have any pride in our country?
The NFL protests are just part of dividing and conquering the country and attempting to rob us of our most cherished symbols.
Look at a good portion of the country now backing the bashing of our flag and anthem. They’re ready to be invaded by illegals or ‘refugees’ or anyone else because they’ve been lied to about the founding of our country and what we stand for in the world.

Some don’t believe the man has a heart. Some think - no guts. Both are wrong. In possession not only of these, he has a brain and puts it to use when all around him are searching for their own.
Football is supposed to be entertainment, but there's nothing entertaining about this.

It was pretty amazing listening to sports radio here in Jacksonville, Florida yesterday. The hosts were 100% pro-kneeler all day. All strictly followed the party line. Just like the USSR. Just another example of why Trump won.
All this is doing is showing EVERYONE what the left truly is..the left including celebrities, media, and sports stars..they LOVE American money but hate our country..notice NONE OF THEM left after Trump was elected, they all threatened to leave but no one actually left..of course not, they were never going to leave, come on, go to countries where they have to fork over 80 percent of their wealth to the Govt, LOL yeah right
