Ohio officials have discovered 588 uncounted votes in this week’s special election for the 12th Congressional District, further tightening the already too-close-to-call race.
“The votes from a portion of one voting location had not been processed into the tabulation system,” the Franklin County Board of Elections said in a press release Wednesday. The uncounted votes were from a Columbus suburb.
Prior to the discovery, Republican Troy Balderson led Democrat Danny O’Connor by more than 1,700 votes. With the 588 votes included, the margin narrows to 1,564, according to the Cincinnati Enquirer.
President Donald Trump prematurely declared victory for Balderson on Tuesday night....

Al Franken won his first term the same way in a razor thin election. A box of uncounted ballots just happen to be found and guess what they were 100% for Franken

There must be some clandestine consultant they have who gets called to orchestrate “finding” votes in close races like this.
This phenomenon has become common since the 2000 Bush vs Gore election. Plenty of time to fine tune it, too.
The Al Franken trick.
No, wait... it’s the democratic party’s best trick for every close election where their candidate is behind by “just enough” votes to make it worthwhile to find “just enough” plus a bunch more, to take their candidate over the top. Works every time. Republicans still have not learned how to use that trick.
A democrat will one day go on America’s Got Talent, and show the world that “magic trick”. That contestant will instantly be declared the winner of that season, with the “game ending play”.
