Republican Bill Janklow leads Democrat Stephanie Herseth by seven points in their race for the U.S. House, according to a statewide poll, but a substantial portion of voters have yet to make their choice.
Janklow, the four-term governor of the state, was favored by 47 percent of the respondents to the poll, commissioned by the Argus Leader and KSFY-TV. Political newcomer Herseth was picked by 40 percent of those interviewed.

Nice bounce-back for Janklow in this poll. He had trailed by 3 points in the previous independent poll, though he had not really started campaigning at that time.
If you want on or off my poll ping list, let me know!
This is good news for Janklow

I'm so sick of stupid voters (like some here at FR, though, I guess, who talk about Republicrats) who think that this is just a coin-toss opportunity-- an embarassment of riches.
Vote for Herseth, vote for Conyers and Frank and the rest.
Why can't people understand this???
Looks like we need federal poll watchers on the reservations to make sure they only vote once!
