They poll every night. In the last 10 days, Allard has moved from dead even to six points up.. +/- 4% for party/internal polls....
means..
Allard is up by 2%

MyDD has discontinued comments, wonder why. I wrote a couple of months back and asked him about that. He said the comments were becoming too distracting, and he wanted to focus on political news. I told him I respectfully disagreed and hoped he'd reconsider. While I was usually in the minority view over there, the discussions were most often cordial.

LOL. Well, if you got to him before I did, perhaps that's why he wasn't particularly responsive to my suggestion.

"+/- 4% for party/internal polls.... means.. Allard is up by 2%"
Am I correct in understanding this poll to mean that there is a 95% probability that Allard is up by at least 2% and a 95% probability that he is up by no more than 10%?

Your statement is correct for INDPT polls...
However, for Party Polls you either add or minus 4% to the
others numbers....
Meaning..if Allard says he is up by 6% , then he really is only up by2%\
Either add 4% to Strikleland or Minus 4% to Allards numbers.
