Johnson with slight lead (45%-42%) in S.D. (my title)

Johnson versus Thune, Daschle versus Bush, Democrat versus Republican control of the United States Senate; there are several reasons why the country's watching South Dakota voters.
To no one's surprise, this race is still too close to call, it's within the tight margin of error. However, in our latest scientific poll Johnson is maintaining a slight edge.
It's crunch time. With just three days until the election, both Tim Johnson and John Thune are vying for more votes. Each handshake could be the difference, that's how close the race for South Dakota's Senate seat is.
According to the KELOLAND News Election poll, 45 percent of registered South Dakota voters would pick the Democratic incumbent. 42 percent would choose the Republican Representative. Senator Johnson's 3-point lead is the same as it was in our early October poll.

I have the feeling that the President's visit to SD is going to put Thune over the top. After all, Johnson is under 50%
Could the difference be registered voters vs. likely voters. I know many refer to that when determining these poll results.

I could not find the details of this poll. Not sure when it was taken. But there are only 4% undecided. If this was taken after Bush's visit, then you have to give the edge to Johnson. What is strange, is that Thune is only pulling 64% of the Republican vote. If he were getting 70%, this would be over. Sorry, but this one along with CO, AR, and NH you have to put in the Lean Democrat column.

This is a poll of registered voters. That's absurd, this close to the election. Typically, polls of registered voters understate GOP results. Add three to five points to Thune's numbers, and take a like amount from Johnson. In other words, Thune probably has a small lead, once this sample is screened for likely voters.

For those unsure ask yourself: Would Dashel sacrafice you if it meant he would retain power?
Would Dashel sacrafice your private land, your states forests, if it meant he would retain power?
Would Dashel sacrifice the Security of the United States either intentionally or by ignorance, if it mean he would retain power?
The truth is scarry.....because we know he already has.
