the original blunder that all too tellingly revealed his mindset That's a good summary. Even more succinct is "his mind is a blunder".

For instance, Mr. McCain cited Dr. Dean's remark that `the ends do not justify the means,' in reference to the death of Saddam Hussein's sonsWhat's this "Mr." McCain and "Dr." Dean?
Oh yeah, this is how the New York Times refers to them.

Will the first democrat who has ever freed a country and rebuilt it overnight without err, please raise your hand.
Hello? Is this microphone on?
Again I ask. Will any Democrat who has freed a nation of oppressed people, outed a dangerous anti-American dictator, and rebuilt a nation without a single err, please raise your hand.
My. The room seems so silent. I guess we'll have to call it a night, folks.
So what should these know - it - all democrats do now?
Gimmie an "S"

Dean, like Hitler, is adamant. If you tell a lie often enough, people will believe it is the truth.

This guy is going to blow before it's all over. Well, I hope he doesn't blow until he's won the Primary. This is the dude I want for their candidate. Perhaps a 'blow' about the 10th of October, 2004 would be nice.

Dean's been lying. Where do you think his initial support came from? DUpers DUmping on the original online poll to "nominate" the next DNC candidate. The media was wowed by the support that he got (even though it was an orchestrated scampaign to bump up his figures).
He receives money now because he is a "name". I know that there are "recording artists" who sell a lot of albums but never sang on them (Milli Vanilli). PR is a con game.

Yep. Hilllary is telling Dean to kiss her butt. SHE comes first.
I wonder if he still worships her.

But the Dims get to change their candidate at the last minute if this happens--remember the New Jersey Senate race? A perfect point for Her Heinous to insert her considerable bulk into the mix....just watch.

Dean did in fact say he was'nt sure if Iraq was better off with Saddam out of power - and Hannity called him out on it. What a loser.
To: KC_Conspirator
I think Dean was wrong to deny that he had made the remarks, but I also think that Safire is misinterpreting what he said. The end was the removal of Uday and Qusay. The means was the US going to war in Iraq. Dean's comments imply that he thinks that the removal and deaths of Sadaam's sons was a good thing, but that this good thing does not retroactively justify the means, the war itself. I disagree with him, seeing both the ends and the means as good. But to imply, as Safire does, that Dean thought Uday and Ousay's downfall was a bad thing misconstrues Dean.

Saying the media was wrong is smart politically. No one trusts the media to be fair and accurate.

This guy is going to blow before it's all over.I hope he blows as the Dems nominee. It will be that much more enjoyable and the dividends will be greater.
