Why Can't Scott Peterson Be -Scott Free- & Receive 'Judicial Help' like Michael Schiavo has in FL?

Why is Michael Schiavo walking about -scott free- in Flordia, while his wife Terri has languished for the past 13 years in nursing homes and hospice care with a severe spinal cord neck injury, that caused her to have a neurological disability?
Dr. Hammesfhar testified that the spinal cord neck injury may have been the caused by strangulation. The Doctors said her disability was NOT the result of a heart attack - contrary to the initial assessment.
Maybe others can present a better summary of the situation. Any news on the 24 hr vigil? Wednesday, Oct. 15, at 2 pm has been the court ordered time when the feeding tube will be removed from Terri Schindler-Schiavo.
Any late / last minute developments to report?
MURDER in the Making - in the Sunshine State! - (Florida)
The Pending Death of Theresa "Terri" Schindler-Schiavo, age 39
- Terri, a Likely Victim of Spousal Abuse, may finally be 'terminated' on Wednesday -
"Terri was a sweet girl, very compassionate, caring, and loyal to her family." Later, Terri was married to Michael Schiavo. They were then in a troubled and combative marriage, and Terri was contemplating divorce.
[SEE Nursing Affidavits, Terri's 1991 Bone Scan which shows major trauma, and doctors' testimony of spinal cord neck injury, and NOT a heart attack.]
AFF2 (326kb) - Affidavit of C. Iyer, RN, former caregiver of Terri's from Palm Garden Convalescent Facility
. Excerpt: "Michael would say 'When is she going to die?', 'Has she died yet?', and 'When is that bitch going to die?'."
Her husband Michael has been successful in getting a court order to have her feeding tube removed at 2PM on Wednesday, October 15, unless Governor Jeb Bush is persuaded to intervene. If the feeding tube is removed, this will begin her death by dehydration [and starvation], which is a painful, agonizing and arduous process that may take 10 to 14 days.

If someone could please stop by the CA Locale message board & post a notice about Terri.
During the Recall, I saw the Terri links, but I was caught up in the 'importance' of the recall. Now, its the repeal of the car tax & the diver's license, & looking forward to W-'04, etc... that people are focused on. & Terri?...
Earlier this evennig, I went 'traveling / visiting' to the Florida, NY, Mass, Ill. & D.C. Locales to generate some interest in Terri. Ad. Mod or others didn't quite approve, so I haven't been able to get back on the CA locale.
As I said, I've got to leave, & check back later this evening.

They can call us whatever they want, at least we have and held to our core beliefs.
The vitriol & vindictiveness of the winners show that they are not gracious people. They continue their name calling and sound like they want to physically harm Mc. I've gotten over my disappointment, but, they haven't. Some of them are spewing venom against McClintock and are sounding like the losers instead of the winners and can't even enjoy their victory.
I guess that happens when one doesn't have a value or core belief system.
Oh well, on to 2004.

I sent an e-mail to Governor Bush appealing to his Christianity to do whatever he could to prevent this needless execution. I too have send E-Mails to President Bush, Laura Bush, Jeb Bush (several) the various judges, Senator Graham in addition to talk shows, local papers and anyone else I could think of. I only had two responses - one from Senator Graham and one from the Chief Judge of the 6th Circuit. I will post these lovely responses for your review.
From: Senator Graham
Thank you for contacting my office to share your ideas and opinions.
I am pleased to find so many Floridians concerned about our laws, our state, and our country. As your Senator, I am always mindful of the fact that I am here in Washington, D.C. to represent the people of Florida. Therefore, it is vital that I understand the viewpoint of Floridians like you.
Please visit my website at http://graham.senate.gov/email.html to share your views and opinions, and for a legislative update on activity this week in the Senate, please go to http://graham.senate.gov/weekly_update.html. With kind regards, (P.S. I live in California)
From: Judge David Demers
Thank you for your e-mail. I must advise you, however, that this case is not assigned to me. The Chief Judge is a judge with administrative responsibility and authority. I have no responsibility or authority to review the decisions of other circuit judges. That is done by the district courts of Florida and the Supreme Court. Furthermore, it would be inappropriate for me to attempt to get one of my colleagues to take a position on any case regardless of its nature. I realize this may seem to be a cold and unfeeling response to this very moving issue. However, I assure you I am not a cold or unfeeling person, but there is no other way to make clear that I simply am not the proper forum for your appeal.
I find it inconceivable that all of us - no every one who knows of this case has done everything possible save for forming a posse. We the people have done our best but the evil one has won this round. I am going to bed now and pray as hard as I can. Wouldn't a miracle be great!!
To: AnimalLover
However, I assure you I am not a cold or unfeeling person, but there is no other way to make clear that I simply am not the proper forum for your appeal. Not only is Demers cold and unfeeling he's also uncouth, at least Pontius Pilate had the courtesy to wash his hands. Allowing precedents like this to stand, it will soon be just as legal to terminate the lives of indigent and elderly family members as it is to terminate unborn children. We need to start voting off the bench the activist judges we can and impeach the rest. Actually I suggest canning them after they're impeached that way they'll be well preserved for posterity.
My prayers are with Terri, her family and all those fighting to save her.

I believe it possible that Judge Greer might be privy to the postings on FR. If so, I would hope him to know that he will, at the last day stand before the Judgement Bar of the Almighty... as will we all...and he will stand there with blood on his hands.
To: night reader
I posted this on another thread that seems to be inactive.
Since all else has failed to this point. Why doesn't her family file charges against the husband (attempted murder) for having caused her initial injury since they have found the x-rays with damage to her neck. They could then demand that this removal of life sustaining food and water be reversed because Teri is the only witness to what has happened. In the mean time find some way to get his guardianship removed and this whole thing moved to another court since Judge Greer is intent upon killing Teri.
Seems to me that with his failure to provide rehabilition, basic care and his own statements and actions witnessed by other, others have been found guilty for far less than what they seem to have on Michael Schiavo.

I just did a search on Google for George J. Felos, the husbands lawyer, here is what I find:
"Attorney George J. Felos is a nationally recognized expert in right-to-die cases. He is best known for the landmark case that helped establish an individual's constitutional right to refuse or have withdrawn unwanted medical treatment, Guardianship of Browning, and the current case of a vegetative young woman, Terri Schiavo"
This confirms my suspicions that this case is nothing more that a special interest lawyer trying to set precedence for euthenasia. Just like lawyers tricked Norma McCorvey to legalize abortion in 1973, this lawyer and judge are working together to try to legalize euthenasia using Terri Schiavo.
They would never allow an animal to be starved to death, but I guess when there is no respect for the sanctity of human life then these humaistic liberals don't have a problem murdering innocent humans.

Last night I saw Hannity&Colmes (very hurriedly) address this case. The father of Terri was on and, prompted by Colmes, came out and said essentially that he believed that foul play had played a part in making Terri as sick as she now is. He also said that the husband had managed to seal her medical records for 10 years--so the parents couldn't see them.
Then the lawyer for the husband came on. Hannity asked him, among other things, why his client had sealed the records for 10 years. The lawyer said, "The records are not sealed. The records have been subject to discovery."
The lawyer neglected to point out that if it had taken legal discovery to open the records, then that means someone had legally FORCED the person(s) sealing them to open them up.
No one ever asked the lawyer, "Yes, okay, the records are open NOW, but you haven't answered the question of whether your client (the husband) had them sealed for 10 years. DID (past tense) he?"
The way the lawyer said "The records ARE (present tense) not sealed" reminded me of Rapist-in-Chief Clinton at that first public appearance after Lewinsky broke. He said, "There IS no inappropriate behavior." Even the libnut news media noticed that he spoke only of the present, and even they pointed out that saying there IS none was not the same as saying there WAS none.
Since the question of foul play has been credibly raised, I don't understand why the decision-making has still been left in the husband's hands. Seems like, since it's disputed, someone could at least have placed the decision-making for Terri into the hands of a neutral guardian.
And the lawyer said, "Michael Shiavo stands to get not one penny on Terri's death." What I wanted to ask him was, has he been spending the money in the years since she was injured? So what if he gets "not one penny" now? It might just mean that he's already spent up her money in the intervening years.
I saw video of this woman for the first time. She sure doesn't look to me like she lacks all perception. Frankly, she appeared to have a livelier affect than Janet Reno.
To: All
I'm a nurse and have been following this horrible scene for the past 3 days. This is how I see it:
A few years ago Mr. Schiavo and his wife Terri were headed for divorce, so for some reason, he tried to kill her.
He was not sucessful in that attempt and so knew he had to keep her from EVER EVER being a witness to that. He painted his disguise intially as a loving caring hurt man and won some money for it then began to show his true murderous colors after he got the money. NO rehab, No therapy. Then he starts to do things to her in the care facility to finish the job, like injecting her with insulin. These attempts too, failed. So finally in his desperation to kill his handicapped wife, he hires a lawyer and judge to finally get the job done. PERIOD. and it worked. But there is a greater Judge, Who cannot be decieved Mr. Schiavo.

At first I thought he might be after the money but from what they're saying the money is almost depleted. Allowing her parents to take over from here should not be an issue. There has to be a far more compelling and insidious reason he is seeking government assisted execution--her ability to prove his failed murderous act(s).
But there is a greater Judge, Who cannot be decieved Mr. Schiavo.

Within the law, the governor and the courts have done all that it allows. We have a carry-over from the Bad Old Days wherein the wife is the property of the husband who can do as he sees fit. That's the way the law is written. As lawyers, those who make, interpret and enforce the law cannot conceive of acting outside of the law in the interests of just one person, even if a life is at stake.
The only thing that is going to work now is for the Powers That Be to be embarrassed by negative publicity. That can only be accomplished by doing things that will attract cameras - THOUSANDS OF PROTESTERS:
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1001073/posts?page=94#94 If you can, please go to Florida and picket this place of death. The Lefties have no trouble mustering a crowd [and attending media] to 'save' a convicted multiple-murderer. I suppose part of the reason is we work while they do not. They can afford to go around the country and protest whatever they are told to protest. It's a lifestyle for them. Meanwhile those of us who are carrying the country on our backs do not have cameras in our faces because we, work, bathe, pay our taxes etc.

Like it or not this is what I am thinking today. I originally posted the following on
this thread.
****************************************************
To further bring into focus just what the authorities, from the judges on down, are ignoring in order to end Terri Schiavo's life I'll put them into a bulleted list.
Micheal Schiavo's vested interest in Terri's death:
1. Avoidance of a near certain criminal investigation and possible prosecution arising from questions concerning the multiple fractures she seems to have acquired just prior to becoming mute and immobile.
2. Sole acquistion of funds secured for the rehabilitation and maintanence of Terri's life and health which can only be accomplished if he remains married to Terri.
3. Legal sanctification of his sexual relationship with another woman.
4. Emotional security of legally securing his relationship with that other woman by means of marriage.
Micheal Schiavo's actions:
1. Removal of Terri from a rehabilitative hospital setting to the purely maintanence oriented setting of a hospice facility.
2. Using his authority as her legal guardian to prohibit all efforts to rehabilitate her.
3. Using his authority as her legal guardian to limit or prohibit visitation by her family.
4. Calling his wife a "bitch" in the context of wondering why it was taking so long for her to die.
5. Use of the funds meant for Terri's care for his own needs.
Algore is still wishing his case for vote recounts had had half as much merit as these points make for terminating Micheal Schiavo's status as legal guardian much less considering his petitions to let her starve.
The weight of circumstantial evidence here is far more damning than the evidence used to execute Timothy McVeigh or prosecute Charles Manson and leads the rational mind to only one conclusion, (albeit a yet to be proved suspicion) it appears to be far more likely than not that Micheal Schiavo attempted to murder his wife causing substantial injuries that resulted in her current condition of mute immobility and he is now soliciting the help of the courts of the State of Florida to finish the job.
Regretfully (shamefully, despicably, dishonorably, criminally, immorally, horrifically, adjectiva nausea ad nauseam ...,) the Courts of Florida are willingly assisting him and no earthly authority in Florida or Washington has been able to find the legal right, the statute or the testes to oppose him.
The Corporate Media (as always in these times) has abdicated its responsibility to fully inform The People of this nation about this situation. A situation which has generated strong reactions from people wherever the story has managed to surface through means of less heralded forms of communication.
The will of The People is being played out in this case through the actions of unelected authorities, unwillful and illwillful representatives and by a misinforming media which is ignorantly percieved by too many to be performing some honest and reliable service to our country.
There is little left for the ordinary man/citizen to do but watch and unflinchingly witness what is happening. Watch it, acknowledge it and remember it. However painful the truth is it is always better than the lie. Never deny it, never excuse it, never forget it. Micheal may succeed in murdering Terri but the truth won't die if you give it a place to live.
Victory lies in truth and truth is a flame that needs shelter from the winds of fear and anger. Take the flame into your heart and mind and the lie with it. The flame of truth needs to be exposed to the lie to feed itself by burning it to pure ashes. You can't eliminate evil from the world but don't turn away or close your eyes to it because it is ugly. It will only use that as an opportunity to gain ground on you.
Good luck, Micheal Schiavo. You're gonna need it.
