Help Terri, Not many options left, protesting and writing obviously isn't working. We Freepers can make awareness our tactic yet, I am suggesting emailing EVERY reporter with pleas to check facts (in capitals) of this case, reminding them that the media reports are untrue and incomplete.Short and factual, like the hit points about parental visits, no therapy 10 years, etc, not a long one, short to make them maybe take notice? I feel we may gain sucess if even one report gets ouut, but a plea to Joe Scarbourough, Rita, (some of and all) them in particular, the heads of networks, Rupert Murdoch, don't know the others. I have some legal work to do, or would post all the addys, so could someone, and maybe also a "master" lletter" for people to cut and paste? We have written the gov, now need to hammer at the media, our only chance. So sadf, a lot of broken hearts today, but LETS FIGHT.

Start with Fox News. Their website perpetuates the lie that Terri is in a coma. She is not. I do not know why they persist in labelling it as such.

Bush hung his athletic supporter on the wall many years ago. He has neither the mind or the guts to clarify and act on such issues. He's too bush declaring Islam the religion of peace and negotiating an invasion of this country with President Fox.

Somehow I don't believe it's money Michael is looking for. Remember - if she ever regained her voice he may be faced with assault charges or even attempted murder.
I think Michael has a *whole* lot of stuff he'd rather "bury" with Terri than have it known to law enforcement.

How about a filing a civil rights violation suit for denial of due process with regard to the fact that she had no representation in the hearings. Her parents were represented, her husband was represented but Teri didn't have an attorney!
Her rights were denied her due to lack of representation. This could be filed in federal court and get it out of Judge Greer's jurisdiction. There is no statute of limitations on civil rights violations.

Okay everyone, here is a quick thing you can copy and paste if you do not have time to write an email on your own. Please get this information out there!
SUBJECT: ACTUAL FACTS about Terri Schiavo's Case point to Strangulation! URGENT - Please Read
The case regarding Terri Schiavo I feel is not getting the attention that it deserves, and very important evidence has not been heard in court. The information below is just a brief bit of supporting evidence to back my position. More information can be found at
http://www.terrisfight.org/ in the Timeline section. Please use your powers and freedoms of the press to get this information out there before it is too late. Terri is NOT in a coma, she is not on respirators, and her body is capable of maintaining itself except for the process of eating, which to date must be done through a tube for the simple fact that Michael Schiavo has REFUSED TO EVEN ATTEMPT allowing her to eat on her own, and has REFUSED ANY REHABILITATION. Please get this out there, and please don't let this action take place before the public is presented with the TRUTH.
On April 26, 2001 Attorney Anderson and Eckert presented the testimony of Cyndi Brasher to Judge Greer showing that Schiavo had perjured himself at Terri's 2000 trial. Judge Greer REFUSED TO HEAR THE NEW EVIDENCE because it was presented after a 1 year time constraint.
THE EVIDENCE PRESENTED was that Michael's prior girlfriend came forward with testimony that Michael had told her that Terri had never told him what her wishes were in a situation such as this. She had not come forward previously was that she was AFRAID OF MICHAEL. Terri's brother, Bobby found this easy to believe due to the fact that he had come to the conclusion that Michael was a VIOLENT and CONTROLLING person after an altercation that he had previously been involved in with Michael, where he had been grabbed by the NECK and thrown to the ground, and was ready to strike him with a closed fist whent he rest of the family intervened to stop him.
On April 27, 2001 this same evidence was presented by attorney's Anderson and Eckert that showed that Michael Shiavo had perjured himself in Terri's 2000 Trial to Civil Court Judge Frank Quesada. Based on the evidence, Judge Quesada ordered her feeding tube (which had been ordered removed 60 hours previously) restored.
On October 14, 2002, Dr Hammesfahr testified in court that in all of his previous experiences he has only encountered one patien who had suffered a neck spinal injury similar to the one that Terri suffered. Dr. Hammesfahr emphatically stated that it was his expert opinion that the injury was caused by strangulation.
On October 15, 2002, Dr. Bambikidas testified that when Terri was admitted to the hospital after her collapse" that it appeard to have been caused by a spinal neck injury, and further testified that her condition was not brought on by a heart attack as alleged, based on the fact that she had not suffered a heart attack.

Dang...
This whole thing makes me ill. If the parents are willing to take custody I don't see the problem, I really don't. I also don't see why Jeb Bush doesn't push the envelope a bit and send in the state troopers.
Obviously I'm not being realistic, I never thought being realistic would mean standing by and watching someone die of starvation in a hospital. You would think the hospital staff would refuse to be part of this. There is a place in life for civil disobedience, and this is a good time for it.

I emailed them about that just a little while ago. The source of their current article with COMATOSE in the header looks to be taken directly from the AP wire. I told them to at least change the headlines because it causes an immediate preconception, and we expect better from Fox News.

Here's my email:
I ask you to reduce the Kobe coverage, which is really starting to annoy me and increase coverage on Terri Schiavo. And, for the love of God, stop using the words "coma" 'comatose" "vegetative" etc. She is awake and alert. You guys aired the video for crying out loud. Start practicing what you preach about being fair and balanced, one would think I was watching ABC News!

Michael Schiavo Goes To Great Lengths Hiding Terri From Public ViewTimeline of the Terri Schiavo case Fri, Jun. 06, 2003
The Petition
WHEREAS evidence in Terri's medical records that show Terri suffered 'Massive Body Trauma,' which consisted of bone fractures in her Ribs, Pelvis, Spine, Ankle and a Broken Right Femur Bone. The Schindler Family believes these injuries contributed to Terri's collapse.
WHEREAS evidence that Terri's husband has recently petitioned the court to have Terri's body cremated immediately following her death. The Schindler Family believes Terri's cremation is a maneuver her husband will utilize to destroy evidence of his criminal acts.
WHEREAS evidence that Terri's $1.6 million dollar trust fund, awarded to her by a 1992 medical malpractice jury for medical treatment and therapy, is depleted. The Schindler Family believes Court transactions will show the majority of the fund has been used to pay her husband's legal fees in his pursuit of Terri's death.
We, the undersigned, ask that you issue a stay in any further court proceedings until a full investigation can be completed. Terri Schiavo's life is in danger. Her husband has petitioned the court to remove her feeding tube and end her life by way of starvation. We ask that you halt any further action by the courts until the results of a investigation into these allegations against Mr. Schiavo are known.

Activists GO TO FLORIDA and sit-in. Keep the killers from getting near enough to Terri to end her life. If thousands of people can go to the state of Washington or New York or Washington DC to protest NAFTA or NATO or the UN they can go to Florida now to stop the war waged against a disabled woman and save Terri.
Masses can demand that Judge Greer step down!! And can appeal to Terri's husband to show some integrity and compassion -- if not for his wife Terri, for the thousands of us who strongly oppose ending Terri's life -- the thousands of us who are sobbing and grieving the life of our Sister Terri!!!!
We just cannot sit still and allow this atrocity to take place. We have to ask: Who will be next??? And we cannot afford to do nothing in the hope that it will not be one of us.

"The purpose of this lawsuit is to invalidate the lower court's decision," Felos told the Tampa Tribune Tuesday. Uh, yes, that would be correct. But what makes Judge Greer such an expert that no decision of his could possibly be wrong (aside from his ability to act as gatekeeper for any evidence used for appeals).

Ideas? How about a foreign govt granting her citizenship and offering asylum---or Bush revoking her citizenship and thus placing her outside the authority of a FL court?
Dubious legality? Who cares, if it saves an innocent life?
To: RLK
"Somehow her husband needs to become convinced that his sojourn on this planet is tied to her welfare."
I agree. There is a lot of evidence to the contrary of the media view that Schiavo has acted in the best interests of Terri. I believe with all the information out there, he could be convicted of attempted murder, and if Terri dies, murder. Someone suggested on another thread (syriacus maybe?) that he be offered immunity from prosecution if no harm comes to Terri, and he relinquishes guardianship of Terri to her parents immediately. He should be made aware that there are those of us out here, who will dig and dig, and pursue this until he and the rest of them are behind bars for life otherwise. It's also pretty obvious that there is collusion between him, Felos, Greer, and the Hospice, possibly higher than that, to see Terri dead. Maybe he could turn state's evidence. I respect your opinion. What do you think of this idea?
