>>We use the same curriculum and have the same proliferation of blow-up world globes rolling around our living room <<

We use a different curriculum and I was wondering what *is* with all the inflatable globes? Although I like the "Mark-It Map" I am starting to think it just isn't any fun for our extremely hands on Kindergartner. Do you play games with them?

I just finished The Ultimate Geography and Timeline Guide and am just bursting to have fun with Geography and History (subjects I loathed in school) with my kids. I am even learning all the stuff I certainly must have slept through.
