Its a war against the forces of darkness, the group quoted from Boykins invitation flier. The battle wont be won with guns. It will be won on our knees.
What a guy. He says it just like it is. No pc thinking in his mind.

As I said on another thread, thank God for this guy. I was beginning to think that all of our generals were sissified, perfumed globalcrats a la Wesley Clark. Boykin for President in '08!!

The American press is having conniptions over these commnets, while saying little about Malaysia's Prime Minister who said at the 10th Islamic World Conference yesterday that "Jews rule the world" and that they "need more fighters to die for Islam'.

I suggest he might also consider the words "to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies foreign and domestic".

the U.S. Army is indeed a Christian army whose mission is to carry out a Christian jihad. Sounds good to me. Paien unt tort e chrestiens unt dreit - Chanson de Roland, v. 1015.

Today's LA Times editorial made a point of equating Gen. Boykin with Pres. Muhathir (sp?) of Malaysia.
They (the blessed captains of our major media) will never get it, when an American general or official who speaks of America being a divinely-protected/guided nation is equated with a jihadist.
Cultural relativism = mass dementia.

Wow. Ponte is quite the hypocrite. In another piece, he excoriates Clark for having a guilt-by-association connection with Waco, via Schoomaker [who likely was there because of his spec ops and Delta background]. But he acts like an apologist for this guy who was actually IN the meetings and was actually ON the scene - which even Ponte acknowledges Clark never was. If you want a President who sits silently while his own citizens are gassed and burned, perhaps you should try a country with better beer than ours.

Pray for the general and all who fight evil on every level. Looks like Patton has come back just when we need him again.

"the U.S. Army is indeed a Christian army whose mission is to carry out a Christian jihad."
Note that this quote is from Arkin and not the good General.
As a Navy Commander with 21+ years of service, son of a disabled vet from the Korean War, nephew of combat vets in all services during WWII, and grandson of two WWI combat vets, all Jews, I have to put my two cents in. Jews have honorably served in the US Military since the Revolution. With that said, I fully agree with the General that this is a war of good against evil. The US Military has a lot going for it but formost is that it is a force based upon the Judeo-Christian values of this nation!!!

U.S. Supreme Court in United States v. Macintosh [283 U.S. 605-635, argued April 27, 1931. Decided May 25, 1931.] The quote above appears in the majority opinion of the decision, section 625.

The attack on Bush via Boykin, apparently coordinated through Arkin, was joined by Lisa Myers of NBC News, which on Wednesday night aired videotape of the general?s Oregon speech and slideshow. Howard Kurtz, in today's Washington Post, has an interesting story about how Arkin and the LA Times "fed" the story to NBC before they put it on page one of their own newspaper.
