"Write to them often. Call them at their offices. Visit with them personally. Make sure they understand completely why we choose them over the leftist Democrats and what we expect them to do when they take office."

Yup. It does annoy me to hear these 3rd party types who complain about the Republicans not toeing their view of perfection, yet they are not out there actually lobbying EFFECTIVELY for Conservative change. Oftentimes the best groups are the ones who are not party-affiliated at all (like NRA) that keep all the pols' feet to the fire.

And anyone complaining about "RINO"s in the GOP I have one answer: Support Pat Toomey in Pennsylvania against Arlen Spectre - the battle is joined there! We cant win if we dont put the effort in that will make a difference.

"Get involved in the local campaigns and local party activities. Seek out and promote the very best new conservative blood we can find and get them voted into any elected office we can.Keep pushing and promoting them up the ladders while bringing new conservative blood in."

Great point!

Actually JimRob, I am/was almost ready to go one better - and actually run!! - for the 10th Congressional district here in Texas. No better way to inject the conservative blood than to actually get in the arena. This race will be a bit pricey though. I've made calls and found that others may be putting in a lot of money to win the primary. it will take maybe $300K to run a competitive race in the 10th CD primary. I can put in maybe $100,000+ or more of my own money, but dont know where to get the rest. Others have deeper pockets (sigh). If you know of conservative sugar daddies let me know, I may reconsider :-)

The Clintons have their
Circle-of-Power.

We have the
Circle-of-Truth.

The Media, DNC, the Clintons,
Democrat Leaders, Liberal Money-bag
celebrities, Communist Allies

VS

Free Republic, Rush Limbaugh,
Matt Drudge, Newsmax, WorldNetDaily,
Judicial Watch, including all other major-fighters
and solo-freedom-fighters doing their
part to get the TRUTH OUT!!

And we must also get to those DINO (Democrats In Name Only) who are really Communist Inflitrators.

In War, you defeat your enemy first.

Because if the Enemy defeats you,
there will be nothing left to fix.

Great! I don't know any sugar daddies, but there should be plenty of Texans there in your area who will gladly support you. Are you a member of the Heart of Texas FReeper chapter? You might try contacting Basil by FReepmail and seeing if she has any ideas.

If Schwarzenegger succeeds, I think it could help all of us in left-leaning states. I hope he kicks butt down there.

I think that the DINOs are already attacking California via the Union Strikes with the purpose of destroying the California economy and hurt Schwarzengger-- and in the aftermath, hurt Bush for the 2004 election.

This is War to the Dinos.

And they have already begun
the Air Campaign.

I believe that the End Times will come because of the new intensified escalation of fighting. As GOOD gets stronger and we elect strong people like Schwarzenegger to fight against evil, the Evil Ones will fight harder-and-stronger-and-more-sneaky as well.

And so the War Begins.

Go Jim go! Clintoon received $12 million for his memoirs. Hitlery received $8 million for her memoirs. That totals $20 million for memories from two people who for 8 years repeatedly testified, under oath, that they couldn't remember anything.

Another Great Poster/Sign Idea!!!

Freepers Rule!

I know the game I used to be StickyWings

Just how many more FR aliases do you maintain, Restornu?

You've admitted on this thread to holding a second (Pressforward,Saints, opened 2001, now inactive) and a third (StickyWings, opened 2002, now suspended), not to mention you have a fourth one, which is still in good standing, that you've admitted elsewhere to holding (Itsfreewill, opened 2002, still active). And all of these accounts were created AFTER the account "Restornu".

What part of this statement, from FR's "Posting/Guidelines" page, do you have trouble abiding with?

Free Republic expects users to follow a few simple posting guidelines...
Don't play games - Don't represent yourself as another person, create or use another screen name to avoid a revocation of posting privileges....

Restornu; I used to be StickyWings

Ive got to tell you I am d*mned p#ssed off about this

Resty - you hold yourself up as a pious old biddy - and then use that freeper alias to agitate everyone. Were you the apocalyptic chicken too?

I really have to say I suspect your dyslexia is a hoax - because stickywings typed clearly AND made sense

you deserve banning

As always, I've got mixed feelings about multiple identities. I think that one family should have one for each person in the family who is on FR....that should be OK.

To the extent that any alternate identity is used for trolling, I guess that should be controlled.

Maybe the best reason is just so JR can figure out how many people he actually has using this site.

Allow me to play devil's advocate on resty's behalf for a minute...

Pressforward,Saints was used from March 2001 through October 2001.

StickyWings was used from March 2002 to August, 2002.

Itsfreewill was used from May 2002 through September 2002 (overlapping the StickyWings account). I can find no other posts from that account, which was suspended/banned just within the last two hours.

Now all these accounts were created after the restornu account was created in July of 2000, but only that one account is still used regularly. We might conclude, therefore, based on the cessation of this "alias" activity that restornu is no longer "playing games" with his/her IDs. On the other hand, presuming Jim can take him/her at their word, I think a full disclosure of every alias account ever held by restornu ought to be made to JR, if not to the people he/she has stalked and offended using those aliases over the last few years - and for all I know, he/she may have made such a disclosure to JR already. I'm guessing if that conversation didn't take place back in '01/'02, it's happening now.

It's JR's playgound and he can run it any way he sees fit -and I'll abide by his rules and decisions in this regard. But if it were my playground, and I'd caught a user red-handed with multiple aliases, that's what I'd be demanding if that poster wanted to remain active. Apparently restornu has never made such an admission or apology to those he/she has offended. If he/she had, you wouldn't have been surprised by these posts, Rev.

The same goes for acting and the writing jobs. We've ceded those areas to the Left, and it bites us in the butt.

I'm not sure if they were ceded as such. I think people predisposed to liberal ideology gravitate more to the liberal arts, while conservative gravitiate to business and science.

The only way to fix it is to insist the media balance their intellectualism through their hiring and what their product.
