Statement by Jim Robinson Regarding the State of our Free Republic

I happen to believe that Bill and Hillary Clinton were the worst presidents in our nation's history. Corruption, government abuse, treason and daily scandal were the norm under their rule. Bill is a useful idiot who can't keep his mouth shut or his zipper up and Hillary is an America hating godless communist power monger. These are my personal opinions.

Bill and Hillary Clinton and their minions still wield a tremendous amount of power and influence over the Democrat Party, the socialist movement and the national press. Their goals are to completely eliminate our rights to free speech, free religion, freedom to keep and bear arms, etc., and these are just for starters.

I believe the overall goal of their movement is to completely do away with the U.S. Constitution and in its place, install socialist/totalitarian rule over America. Furthermore, I believe they wish to do away with our national sovereignty altogether and subject America to domination by the U.N. and other world bodies.

Now you may call me a nutcase if you wish, but that's the way I see it. I believe that in the last century, FDR, LBJ, RMN, Carter, Clinton, et al, successfully introduced many socialist programs into our government and our way of life and with the help of the media and atheist institutions like the ACLU began systematically destroying the fabric of our society. In the process, they've moved both of our major political parties way over to the left. They (the liberals/marxists/socialists) have almost completely taken over all of our government institutions and agencies, the judiciary, the press, the Universities, our education systems, our charities, even our churches.

I believe that as long as Bill and Hillary Clinton and their like minded socialist minions have any influence or power over the government or either of the two major political parties, our nation and all of our freedoms are in extreme danger.

Free Republic was created in 1996 as a place where liberty-minded individuals could gather and share the news and discuss the Clinton scandals and other government abuses. I had hoped that the truth of the Clinton corruption would come out in time to prevent his re-election in 1996. Didn't happen. So we moved on. If we couldn't block his re-election, well, perhaps we could help with his impeachment. He was impeached, but we could not remove him.

So next, we decide to do all in our power to ensure that his second in command does not get to the Whitehouse. Even though GWB was not my first choice, once he won the Republican nomination, most of us rallied behind him and fought like the dickens to get him elected. Then we fought again to block the attempted Gore coup d'etat. Our Free Republic chapters mobilized all across the nation and there were thousands of rallies and protests in hundreds of cities objecting loudly to Gore's attempted takeover.

Then we all thanked God when Bush was finally declared the winner and off to Washington we went to celebrate at the Free Republic George W. Bush Inaugural Ball (I).

Then we all thank God again when after the cowardly attack on our nation by a gang of murderous international terrorists we realize how close we were to complete collapse and national destruction had the socialist U.N. loving Al Gore been in charge. Thank God for President Bush!

And I haven't even mentioned how evil I truly believe the official Democrat Party platform is. Here's a partial laundry list of what the Democrat Party supports and promotes: abortion; homosexuality; feminaziism; environmentalism; government control over every aspect of our lives and society; socialized health care; disarmament of the American people; subjugation of the U.S. to the U.N.; the complete elimination of our national sovereignty; complete destruction of our basic traditional family unit; loss of personal freedoms and individual liberty. In other words, complete destruction of our Constitution and Bill of Rights and our American way of life.

I came to the conclusion several years ago that there is no way this republic can survive if we allow the Democrat Party to maintain control over our government and other institutions. If America is to survive as we know it, Bill and Hillary Clinton and all the current democrat/socialist power mongers who share their philosophy and visions for a socialist America and socialist world must be soundly rejected and defeated at the polls.

And not just at the presidential level. They must be rejected and removed from both houses of Congress and from our State houses and local legislatures. For example, if we cannot remove them from the Senate, then there is no hope for reestablishing a judiciary built on the original intent of the Constitution and the rule-of-law. The liberals and socialists must be rooted out of our congress and our judiciary. Our free republic, our freedom and even liberty itself depends on it.

Just my humble opinion and why I act the way I do. I see the Democrat Party as domestic enemy number one of the Constitution and therefor it is my sworn enemy. And, in my eyes, anyone who helps to elect members of the Democrat party are aiding and abetting the enemy.

Futhermore, I believe wholeheartedly in the original intent of our Founding Fathers and in the U.S. Constitution, the Bill of Rights and the Declaration of Independence.

"We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness."

God gave us these unalienable rights and they can never be taken from us by man or government. And we are ALL to be treated justly and equally under the law.

"That to secure these rights, governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed."

Yes, the Founders established a government and set forth the plan for us to govern ourselves.

"That whenever any form of government becomes destructive to these ends, it is the right of the people to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their safety and happiness."

The government has become destructive to these ends. One of the main purposes of our government is to defend, preserve and protect our liberty. It has been doing just the opposite. Therefore, it is our right and duty to alter or abolish it. I propose doing so by destroying enemy number one of the Constitution, the corrupt socialist Democrat Party.

Any Elected official who does not understand that fact will join Gray Davis in the elected officials grave yard.

You are clueless and know nothing of how our government and politicians perform. Bush will do what the public wants or they will fire him. Servants who don't do what their masters want, get destoryed.

We don't call them public servants for nothing. There has never been a public ruler in the USA. There never will be.

First you demand your politicians act according to their conscience and not political expediancy, then you demand they not act according to their conscience, but to your conscience.

You can't have it both ways. Pick the man who you think is best fit for the job and, illegal or immoral activity aside, give him your full support.

If he doesn't live up to your expectations, there's always another candidate and election right down the road.

Well, I didn't like it when anyone else did it, so I won't knock him for not doing it. Recess appointments are not permanent anyway, and what high-caliber, quality nominee is going to leave their current job, and move into an unknown situation?

The liberals have gradually shifted the concept of a constitutional republic. You know that elected politicians will vote for what the people want in order to keep their political position.

This has certainly become the paradigm..

I received an email from a friend with a photo essay attached. Found it very inspirational and wanted to share it with everybody.

There is a huge gravel-rock pit in Iowa and the kids used to use it for obscenities, etc., but since it has been painted like this it has been left alone.

The issue is how? If we try to force conservativism on the general population, they will reject it as too extreme. Imagine, for example, 50 years ago, proposing the idea of gay marriages would have been unheard of. We didn't get this way overnight. And we will not be able to force the middle section of politics to think this way in a few short years. We have to keep working on it.

Using the republican party to advance conservativism is just a start. I have friends who believe everything coming out of ABC, CBS, NBC, et al. Only when I forward them fr articles, and talk to them to they start seeing the truth. Can you imagine, the democrats going the way of the Whig party, and then, subdividing the republican party into a true conservative party? Then, we will have a better opportunity to roll back years and years of oppression by the liberals.

If an elected president stood in front of a camera and told you that government was way too big, and that he intended to reduce it to it's constitutionally mandated size incrementally over the course of his presidency... how many people who actually pay taxes do you think would balk?

It is a constitutional republic, which is SUPPOSED to be restrained by individual rights.

You are living in a fairy tale. Haven't you ever read any of the surpreme court dicisions? The constitution is what ever the JUDGES SAY IT IS THIS WEEK. What you think the parchment says or doesn't say is not worth anything you are not a supreme court justice.

How many times does the Supreme court have to rule in direct opposituion to what you think the words in the Constitution mean, before you figure it out.

I would say it might take 45 or 50 million examples before you figure it out. What it says in the civics books and on your parchment is worth nothing. They are just words. What the guys on the bench in the black robes say is all that counts. Got that?? I didn't think so.

You could try Dealing with it... or even opening your eyes. ...

I WILL SAY IT AGAIN. THE CONSTITITUTION SAYS WHAT EVER FIVE JUSTICES SAY IT SAYS!

The only way is to get judges who agree with you. If such judges are on the court it would not matter what the constitution said. They would make the correct ruling. And if the right judges are NOT on the court, it does not make a damn what the parchment says They will rule as they see fit.

IN our nation it only matters who is elected and who is on the court. Parchment is good for wiping your butt and not much else. Ask Ruth Bader Ginsburg how it really works if you need further explanation.

You don't become a target unless you are standing. That's the problem, too many conservative politicians are afraid to take a stand because they believe they will be left with their butts flapping in the wind while the leftist media takes pot shots.

I can't call it courageous, but I understand the position they are in.

If a politician knows that if he stands up there will be large, noisy, active group of supporters who will stand with him and defend him through thick and thin (as the media goes after his huevos), yes, I do believe it would add starch to their shorts and many would find a slumbering spine with which to bash libs over the head.

One only has to point to the beheading that Newt took (before his divorce and girlfriend), while too many conservatives looked on and stayed silent, to demonstrate the consequences of an out of control liberal media coupled with a meek, cowed or detached conservative consituency.

It's the only way. This thing just isn't going to turn on a dime in some states - like my own (Washington).

If Schwarzenegger succeeds, I think it could help all of us in left-leaning states. I hope he kicks butt down there.

Where are the children of Conservatives that should be going into the profession and balancing this out?

"Should" is a dangerous word.

Also, keep in mind that for 30 years, conservatives have been denied jobs or just ran out of the newroom on a rail. The ones that stay are either gluttons for punishment or the token conservative that the editors can pat on the head and parade around in the "conservative and pony show" during the media's no-bias-here propaganda campaign.

With all due respect, how is Bush materially different than most Democrats in all this? Bush hasn't used his veto pen ONCE to veto ANY legislation as the Federal Budget and Deficit spirals out of control...setting new ALL TIME RECORDS while new programs are continually being added to the hopper.

Bush HIMSELF has proposed the largest NEW Federal Entitlement since LBJ’s Medicare with his Prescription Drugs for Seniors (can you say Socialized Medicine?). THIS on top of the Monstrous Budget Deficit and 87 billion dollars in new spending for Iraq, 15 billion for Aids Treatment in Africa, a doubling of public education spending which (BTW) was backed by the Swimmer and the NEA (?) to name just a few of his new spending initiatives.

Who is going to pay for all this? Jeez, it just goes on and on with Bush.

Let's not forget his promise to re-sign the AWB ban (a promise he will keep). His signing of CFR (a promise that he broke). Affirmative Action? Well Bush campaigned against it, but I guess he thinks it's not such a bad idea after all!

Then we have his NEW Multi-Billion Dollar Homeland Security Joke of a department that is more concerned with padding down Granny at the airport and monitoring the activities of every day Americans (thank you Ashcroft) than going right at the heart of domestic terrorism with full focus...The Muslim Radicals right here in the good ol U.S. of A.

And as for "the complete elimination of our national sovereignty" AGAIN how is Bush different? Bush has shown that he is every bit as competitive on that score than any democrat I've ever seen.

After 3 years, and 3,000 deaths later (not counting many more American deaths related to the illegals in our midst) our borders remain wide open to the world. Hundreds of thousands of Illegal Aliens still continue to enter our country at will each year unhindered. Think there might be a few Terrorists in the mix there?

Interior immigration law enforcement still remains purposely suspended so as not to upset the campaign contributors that have interests here. HLS doesn't not know how many illegal aliens are in America much less know or care where they are. The Mexican government is allowed by this administration to directly interfere with America’s domestic affairs with impunity. Bush couldn’t resist giving RED China MFN trade status despite their legacy of human rights violations, brutal communist dictatorships and history of Trade Mercantilism. Heck, we are still allowing thousands of Muslims from the very countries that harbor terrorism to enter America each and every month.

Meanwhile, Bush & Co. are working with the RINOs and Dims in Congress to forge YET another Amnesty for Illegals. How does this do anything but FURTHER debase America's Sovereignty?…hard to fathom.

Your essay was very well expressed but as I pointed out, you have omitted one hell of a lot of liberal baggage that this President is carrying.

Think Bush will be any different when it comes to judges when he has not ONCE gone to bat for any of his conservative nominees? Will he ever? So far he left every single conservative nominee out there to twist in the democrats’ wind. I guess Bush can remain silent on this like he has on so many other issues, throw up his hands after the Dims filibuster and say to the conservatives "well I tried" then put up a Suter Clone.

You know if I didn't know that Bush was a Republican and just looked at what he has done since he has been in office I'd say he was obviously a Democrat. Really, I'd like to know what conservatives are fighting for with Bush. Seriously.

This is a democratic republic, and was long before party names. Our forefathers had the foresight to make a system of checks and balances. No tyranny of the majority, neither tyranny of the minority.

The Atenians lost their democracy to the Spartans and the Romans lost their republic to Cesear.

Please stop with this crap we are a republic not a democracy, it offends true historians.
