Liberals hated Ronald Reagan. They could never figure out why the American people loved him to the extent that they voted for him in two landslides. And now conveniently that he can't speak out, they're trying to rewrite history. Nice try CBS, but your attempt to tarnish Reagan's reputation with the public will be a ratings flop. Count on it.

"The miniseries wont tell you the whole story about my dads visit to Japan when he learned that only the first class section would be occupied in the 747 jet he was traveling on. He went out and got families of service men and women serving in Japan and filled up the back of the plane with them so they could visit their loved ones they hadnt seen for over a year. They wont tell you how he took them to Japan and brought them back home on the plane without it costing them one cent. That was also the heart of Ronald Reagan." Now that's class. Real class.
"On the day he took office, right after he was told that the hostages in Iran had been freed, he called former President Carter and told him, "Youre the one who did the work, youre the one that did so much to free those hostages. You are the one who should get the credit." And he gave the former president Air Force One and sent him to Germany to welcome the hostages"
I'll bet anyone here a hundred US dollars that Babs forgets to mention this in her 'docudrama' of Reagans Presidency.

Liberal socialism's intent is to rewrite history.
It would be interesting to see who the advertisers will be on this special and what ads they will run. Then we'll see which electoral demographic they are targeting, and whom they hope to rewrite history for.
My sense is that the young simply won't watch a political miniseries. My guess is that they're targeting the elderly in an effort to scare them about social security right preceding an election.

Don't you love the compassion of the left? They wait until an old man is deeply affected by Alzheimer's and THEN try to throw horse manure on him. It won't be just conservatives who will be turned off by this hit piece.
The left is unredeemable trash and they ain't foolin' very many folks.
To: kattracks
The problem is the last 20 years, the liberals have re-written much of our nation's history. This trend will continue until we draw the line.

I was commissioned as an officer in the USAF during Carter's administration.........and I voted for Ronald Reagan as fast as I could punch that card. The difference, after he was elected, was phenomenal to those of us in the military. We felt proud once again. We got better pay, better equipment. We had a leader who understood the greatness of our country. God bless him and his family, and to hell with the morons at CBS. They forget that far too many of us remember..........and remember well.
