Debates' flaw: No one's watching TV ratings at bottom of barrel (9 Dwarves Debate)

The Democratic presidential contenders stride on stage at the historic Fox Theatre in Detroit at 8 p.m. Sunday for yet another televised debate.

The nation does not seem to be holding its breath.

The television viewing audience for the highest-rated debate this fall -- the Oct. 9 forum in Phoenix on CNN -- was smaller than the audience for the lowest-rated prime-time entertainment show on network television.

Another televised event just may be starting at 8 p.m.: The New York Yankees and the Florida Marlins in a possible seventh game of the World Series.

No one will be watching the Yankee game. BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

In all honesty, the smaller the audience for these intra-party spats, the better for the Democrats. For two reasons:

1. The Nine Ninnies are an embarrassment.

2. Lies that nobody sees or hears don't need to be refuted later on...

I think people are tired of these dolts spewing the same old rhetoric and hate, and offering NO NEW IDEAS, and NO ALTERNATIVES TO BUSH's POLICIES, except criticism of current policies.

This seems like a good place to post this.

Bring It On

You wormy little weasels,
Who wish to do us harm.
You make your threats to the US,
And try to cause alarm.
Well here is what we say to you,
We’re waiting for you now.
So crawl out of your stinking cave,
And we will clean your plow.
But you’re afraid to stand up straight,
So we know you will creep.
Up in the dark behind our backs,
And hit us in our sleep.
So come on now out in the sun,
And face us in the light.
We’re ready to defend ourselves,
You are not causing fright.
So stop the talk and walk the walk,
We’ll bring you to your knees.
Your terror isn’t scaring us,
You liberal nominees.

Republican National Committee Launches New and Improved Democrat Debate Bingo and Debate Bingo en Español

More than 25,000 People Nationwide Keep Track of Democrat Negativity

Washington, DC -- In honor of the upcoming Democrat Debate in Detroit, Michigan on Sunday night, the Republican National Committee is launching a new and improved version of Democrat Debate Bingo and Debate Bingo en Espanol.

More than 25,000 people have signed up to play democrat debate bingo since the RNC launched it on October 9. The updated game includes more than 100 of your favorite democrat debate phrases including "raise taxes" and "miserable failure."

"The democrats are proving they have an endless supply of protest, pessimism and personal attacks. Whether it's attacking the President or each other, each time they join together for a debate the democrats demonstrate they lack vision, unity or a positive agenda. Democrat debate bingo is the perfect antidote to ninety minutes worth of televised negativity," said Jim Dyke, Communications Director for the Republican National Committee.

These "debate" between the 9 micro-humanoids is not about differentiating between these weasels. It is about imposing and enforcing absolute politically correct indoctrination upon these mind numbed robots.

The whole bizarre thing has an old style Communist pseudo-democracy fraud quality.

FYI..earlier this week I heard one of the talking heads say that he hoped that the Dems were asked their views on reparations......that alone would be worth watching..

If it comes up, they'll either support it, or do a duck and weave around the issue. I can't imagine anyone, with the possible exception of pandering Loserman, coming out against.

This is heartening news. Maybe the majority of Americans are smart enough to figure out that these deabtes are a waste of time and of absolutely no value as to next year's election. How can anyone take it seriously when Carol Moseley Braun and Al Sharpton are sharing the forum? Come to think of it you can add Dean, Kerry, Gephardt, Clark and Kucinich too!

You're right about that.

And the only one who has differed even slightly from the Party Line (Lieberman) finds himself ostracized and berated as impure.

About the only thing those debates have produced is a virtual bottomless supply of ink when the Bush campaign seeks to tatoo "very liberal" on the eventual nominee's forehead.

I don't believe these rating numbers for a second.

No way 1.8 million people watched this garbage.

''I think some of the debates have been important,'' says Joe Trippi, campaign manager for former Vermont governor Howard Dean. Which ones? After a pause, he responds, ''As many as we've had, it's hard to remember.''

That debate was watched by 1.8 million Americans.

Yeah, well this one will be lucky if 1.8 Americans watch it.

Yeah, the excruciatingly boring 9 dwarves debate is about reinforcing brain dead communist (oops I meant liberal) ideology on this sad collection of old hacks, sociopaths, psychotic misfits, and one narcissistic character-challenged ex-West Point loon.

''The critics say, 'Sharpton's doing a sound bite,' '' he says. ''My strategy is to get the most said in the least amount of time, and with enough passion or wit to make people remember it.''

Pretty shrewd for a never-was-to-be candidate. Think what the debate ratings would have been without Sharpton's entertainment value.
