Our peripatetic President and First Lady arrived back in Washington today after their whirlwind tour of Asia and Australia. They appeared at a Republican party fundraiser at the Hilton Hawaiian Village on Waikiki Beach in Honolulu last evening after visiting the USS Arizona Memorial, the USS Missouri, and Pearl Harbor Elementary School. (In their ‘free’ time they watched Game 5 of the World Series on TV!). Our First Couple finally arrived back at the White House this morning, receiving a warm welcome from Spot and Barney, and left for a weekend at Camp David this afternoon, where hopefully they can relax! Thank the Lord for answered prayers for their safety, and enjoy your Daily Dose of Dubya!!

President Bush is a walking testament to answered prayer, from his election against all odds, through his conduct in office, and through his ability to navigate through troubled areas of the world. Whenever I start to think my prayers are ineffective, I only have to remember who is president!

I hope they get to lounge around Camp David in sweats, that the president doesn't have to shave, and that Laura gets to go without make-up. LOL!
