Thanks.
Sometimes these legalese documents can be difficult to understand, so I appreciate your confirmation.

It wouldn't be dead if people used it. This forum is for news and political activism. The General Interest forum is for articles that do not advance the conservative agenda.

What is the Republican Liberty Caucus [topic].

Interesting article.
To: george wythe; Admin Moderator
My post may not have been entirely clear, so thanks for clarifying that. I have the article that Jim Robinson/FR management posted bookmarked on my profile page for reference. On occasions I am not sure if a source is part of the WP/LAT parent company (and hence part of the agreement), so I keep it there to verify on those occasions. Thanks, AM for your link on post #51 as well ! ...
My main point was that if an article is NOT sourced from one of those WP/LAT companies covered in the agreement, then excerpting is unnecessary. It is annoying to me to have to go to another site to read an article when it could have rightfully been posted on the FR post. I think there are a lot of Freepers that feel the same way. Plus, there are some that WON'T read it that would if it's posted in it's entirety here. (I don't mind going to the WP or LAT to read them ... it's the 'law').

To remove as many democrats from power, at every level of government and to get this country back on track as our Founding Fathers intended.
To: Admin Moderator
During my lurk period, I recall seeing that posting full articles from The Onion is also verboten because their lawyers got all whiney. Still true, or have they come to their senses?
To: Works_For_Scale
To: Admin Moderator
Still true. Then I'll simply have to utilize network news broadcasts, Democrat party press releases, and the collected wit and witticism of Barbra Streisand for source material when I lampoon absurdity by using absurdity.
To: AntiJen
I do hope that newbies will see to it that they are apprised of the respective meanings of "hugh" and "series" --at least so far as this forum is concerned.
thanks

To: Admin Moderator
First, a big thank you for the post.
It really bothers me when, say, an article on the Middle East ends up under "Mexico". Articles really need to be only in topics they are actually related to.
Speaking of which, a couple of more country topics added to the list would be a good idea. My favorite choices: Iraq, France, Afghanistan, India, Pakistan, and a generic one for Africa.

Maybe, it's just what we've noticed since the last software update. I don't know what abilities John has set the moderator account up with, it might be the old way and he never changed our posting abilities. We know for sure threads that are posted by regular accounts to breaking news, front page, editorial and extended news, only one will show up. Also, we've noticed some quirks with activism, annoucements and fr.
