Michael didn't bring Terri into this world. What makes him think he has the right to take her out?

He married her --- he owns her he thinks. I can't imagine how it would be for the parents to be denied the right to visit their helpless daughter because her spouse and his lover said they couldn't see her. I'm sure Terri never said she never wanted to see her family --- parents and siblings --- ever again.

are being fed all this information by those right-to-life activists

And the problem with Terri having a right to live is...?????
Terri has a right to live under Americas constitution. If she left her will to die in writing it would be different, but just using the word of a man shacking up and having a family with an adultress kinda sends up a red flag!

I understand the husband is a health care professional. People who deal with these problems daily talk A LOT with family members about what they would or wouldn't want for themselves.

Yes, he is a nurse. However, he did not become a nurse until a few years after Terri's collapse. In fact, he stated he became a nurse to dedicate his life to looking after Terri.

Of course, that was just prior to the monetary judgement he received.

Don'cha love that totally involuntary smile on Terri's face in the pic? An uninformed person might think she's happy.

I'd support a complete investigation into Terris condition and how she got the way she is today.

Was there ever an actual medical diagnosis of anorexia or is that all speculation? I read somewhere that Terri had gotten down to 120 pounds and she was 5'3" tall ---- so 120 pounds in itself wouldn't be all that thin or indicate an eating disorder. One of the 4 boys they found was 19 and less than 50 pounds.

It's voluntary. She smiled for her mom in the video. I'm sure the networks will show the video again. It's good they do. The more the better, so people can see who's suppose to be killed.

You're right ... he acted like a snide scumbag, sneared at the question about "Why not just let her parents take the burden .. you go on with your life?" ... I thought he was disgusting!! Especially LOVED (NOT!!!!) the "right to lifers" comments liberally sprinkled in . I'm sure well scripted by Felon-us, his lawyer. I didn't detect ONE ounce of sincerity in any of his "I love my wife" statements .. wish there had been more anti-death calls. Don't people see what's going on here?? The book, movie to follow ... let's see .. Susan Sarandon: yeah, that's the ticket. BARF!!

120 pounds and she was 5'3" tall

I was 5'5" and 115 lbs. when I got married. I worked out a lot.
After the kids, I hit 130, but got back down to 125.
The "normal" range, according to insurance companies for 5'5" is 110-135. So Terri was just fine for her height, age, and weight.

In Florida you can own animals. But not people.

You can do things to the animals but you cannot do to them what they tried to do to this woman!.

"This is Terri's wish," he said of the removal of her feeding tube.
"And I am going to follow that if this is the last thing I can do for Terri."

Wow. How selfless.

"I couldn't keep my vows, but I'll pull her plug come hell or high water."

Dontcha remember what that expert, Michael, said??? "It's the 2nd most painless form of death .. after an aneurysm." Guess he's a medical expert now, and miracles NEVER happen. Any medical professionals here see that
alleged brainscan?

I'm watching the replay now, so I haven't heard the calls yet, but I'd be willing to predict - Most of the callers will be asking stupid questions like, "Aren't you sad that Terri is sick?" Or, "How in the world can you stand living like this?"

It seems to me she would have been. The anorexia seems to be mostly speculation but I haven't read anything that makes me think she had a severe eating disorder. Dieting certainly wouldn't be anything unusual at all ---- even if she was getting on the thin side --- an awful lot of women in their 20's diet and sometimes get thin. Yes -- anorexics die --- Karyn Carpenter did die but hers was a very severe form and she was skeletal when she died. I'm suspicious about Terri's collapse since even Michael apparently wasn't aware of any serious health condition.

I'm watching the replay now,

His eyes are cold. He seems so angry inside. He seems angry he can't kill her.
He also seems spoiled, very self-centered. I, I, I, I.....

I don't like the way he looks. He's one of those guys you don't like the first time you meet them. You wouldn't want to turn your back on him. He's scary looking.

Then God's been listening to my prayers!! (Actually I think Larry is in a state of shock.... Because he has a daughter about her age I'm sure he's leaning toward sympathy for the Shindlers.)

I shall await Freeper-type calls with much eagerness!!

My hubby refuses to even watch this circus act. He says the guys is pure evil. I agree. Such mean, empty eyes!

Yeah. I tell my boyfriend daily that if I were to collapse, he should get a girlfriend and try to kill me immediately.
