Sorry. The words "Democrats" and "Think" used in one sentence without the word "Don't" just doesn't sound right..

"We think the debate has been unbalanced in the country," center president John Podesta, a former chief of staff to President Clinton, told Fox News.Translation: "We're getting our asses whipped, big-time."

Because, as we all know, near-total control of the media and academia isn't enough.

Strange, the article doesn't mention a single "idea" that they're working on or promoting. The article only mentions tactics.
I would hate to think that those brainly liberals are fresh out of "Big Think Ideas." Considering that they're forced to accept the logic of egalitarian socialism, it would be sad indeed if the March of History ended up being mere idealistic tripe.

It's so much fun to watch them self-destruct in their desperation!

"We think the debate has been unbalanced in the country," center president John Podesta, a former chief of staff to President Clinton, told Fox News.I'm surprised God didn't strike him dead when he said that.

Hmmm. I can just see their logo now : " We're a liberal think tank. We'll tell you what to think. Or else...."
To: nickcarraway
Anyone who dares to think (out of the box) will be kicked out of the tank. Maybe they'll name it after Marx, Carl not Groucho.

Time for Jim to get a loyalty statement. ("I do not work for the democrat party or any of their associate organizations" etc. signed by __________, date_______) - Then, when they lie to get in, we sue 'em.
Podesta insists that conservative institutions like the Heritage Foundation don't have better ideas, but are merely better at marketing. He said he is confident his center can take over the marketplace of ideas with notable innovations such as a big media staff that will push the center's thoughts onto the Internet, television and radio.
"We don't have a war room, but we do have a communications platform. We've got a lot of terrific talented people who's job it is in the end to get that product, that analysis, that critique get it out there to the American public," Podesta said.

Geez, with the left's already iron grip on academia, why does Podesta even bother with this scheme? I guess it never occurred to him that all of these right-of-center think tanks sprung precisely because conservative ideas were being ignored or even suppressed in academia.
And while "liberal think tank" might be an oxymoron, "Center for American Progress" is a classic case of doublespeak.
