A California prayer for those in California and Louisiana....! Get out the good word to your fellow friends and nieghbors!

ELECT THE RIGHT SIDE!

If we make gains in New Jersey break out the Marching Bands! Cuz thats about as far fetched as Recalling a Liberal Governor in California and electing a REPUBLICAN!

Zell Miller has written a new book that condemns his party too.

The contests are expected to break the $28.3 million record set two years ago for the most expensive round of legislative races in New Jersey history. The Democrats hold a sizable advantage in money.

The Democrats are outspending the GOP about 5-1 on radio advertising in New Jersey. I don’t expect the GOP to gain much here.

Geez, Democrats must be having a bad week when even CNN is taking notice.

Everyone knows that CNN is shilling for the Bush administration and the right in general.

Everyone at DU, that is.

LOL.

It'sa german term used to describe how people can't help but watch as they pass a car wreck. It's intrigue in the macabre.

I saw Zell endorse, and Koch speaking highly of Bush but not give an outright endorsement (which I could have missed). But when did Cuomo endorse Bush?

Any week in which the Democrats can't raise taxes and create new federal hand-out programs is a bad week for them.

If the Democrats have to endure 51 more weeks like this past week, there is a glimmer of just the merest chance, that Dubya may squeak back into office, and there may be a bare majority eked out in the House and Senate. Presume that the handmaidens of the Democrat party, the alphabet networks and the dominant newspaper chains of both coasts, may be able to mitigate most of the damage, and spin furiously enough so that reality is noticably warped, and any apparent advantage now will be largely diminished.

This is the landscape that faces you. No time to get complacent just because the liberal Democrats have a bad hair day. Just forget what bad days they had in the past, and go out and make a lot more for them.

Well, .. sort of.

It means taking pleasure in others' misery.

scha-den-freu-de (shadn-froid) n.

Pleasure derived from the misfortunes of others.

[German : Schaden, damage (from Middle High German schade, from Old High German scado) + Freude, joy, from Middle High German vreude, from Old High German frewida, from fro, happy.]

The Democrats are sinking from the gutter into the sewer of oblivion where they belong--and this from a man whose parents, grandparents, and great grandparents were all Democrats.

Perhaps I shouldn't have used the word "endorse"

Zell Miller did actually announce who he will vote for, but the same can't be said for Koch and Cuomo. I believe it was early last week when Cuomo was quoted trashing his fellow Dems and praising George W. Bush
