No time to get complacent just because the liberal Democrats have a bad hair day.Nobody's complacent. That's not possible with all the Chicken Littles we have over here...

I copied this post at DU a few weeks ago (from poster Loyal). It was too funny not to keep for threads like this.
We have no chance at New Hampshire
Judd Greg is simply unbeatable.
Ohio looks to be the same, as Voinovich is enormously popular.
We have an ok shot at Colorado, but not a great one.
We have to keep Georgia Democratic. If we don't, then we really suck.
I am a Georgian and I can state that a Republican will win GA and yes, you do suck

What CAN these people be thinking? Well, at the end of WW II, when those of the Nazi bigwigs who could be found were imprisoned at Nuremberg, they used to sit around in their cells (and in groups, to the extent that they were allowed to congregate) and pine wistfully for the days of yore, and imagine how things could have been different and they could have still been in power if... if only...

It's a script. Go to danasoft.com for the info on it. You can buy the script as well.

I'm afraid we need to do better than 4 seats to beat a filibuster.
Georgia's pickup doesn't count in that game, cuz Miller was never behind the judicial nominee filibuster, so it's really only 3.
We're about 6-8 votest short of breaking a filibuster right now, if memory serves.
To: litany_of_lies
I'm afraid we need to do better than 4 seats to beat a filibuster. The closer we get to 60 votes, the more pressure on that 58th, 59th, and 60th senator to cave. And there are a couple senators in swing states who are vulnerable in 2006: Stabenow, Nelson, Nelson, Dayton, Cantwell . . .

It depends on who the GOP candidate will be. If we put up a weak candidate, then yes, Bowles will take NC. However, if we can find a good, solid conservative southerner, then the GOP should pick up NC too.

However, if we can find a good, solid conservative southerner, then the GOP should pick up NC too. US Rep. Richard Burr is the de facto nominee. He's da bomb -- and he's got $4 mil tucked away so far.

Keep in mind that the source code is pointless if you don't have a webserver to base it from. Just link to the image the same as the other poster did and it'll work the same.
I snagged the code though because I'm gonna play with it and customize it for my webserver.

"Graham's anticipated, but unconfirmed, decision to retire would create a third fiercely competitive race for a Democratic open seat in the South."
Third? Isn't this the fourth? Florida -- plus Georgia, South Carolina and North Carolina? Or am I jumping the gun on one of those states?

Third? Isn't this the fourth? Florida -- plus Georgia, South Carolina and North Carolina? You're right, is the fourth open seat, but Georgia's race is not competitive so far, although I don't think that's what they meant to imply.
