The Education Establishment And The Homosexual Agenda

By William R. Alford

With an eye for the future, the battleground for gay activists is in the schools and children are the targets, a new book, The Homosexual Agenda reveals, while developments in at least one state capitol seem to bear the authors out.

Quoted in the book is a rallying point from a 1999 Gay Lesbian Straight Educational Network (GLSEN) conference:

The fear of the religious right is that the schools of today will be the governments of tomorrow. And you know, they're right. If we do our jobs right, we're going to raise a generation of kids who don't believe the claims of the religious right.

The authors of the book, Alan Sears and Craig Osten describe a phenomenon that does more than threaten religious freedom. The 'sexual orientation community' is actively working to impose their value system upon the rest of society. The chapter entitled "Stupid Parents, 'Enlightened Kids'" is of particular interest to those who are concerned about childhood indoctrination.

Sears and Osten quote homosexual activist Chuck Jones: "This is war, so act accordingly." How is this war waged in the classroom? Gay orthodoxy is being imposed upon minor children in class as undisputable fact, rather then even the subject of controversy or debate.

A high school boy found himself made fodder for ridicule when he questioned a biology teacher's assertion that homosexuality is genetic: "What's the matter, Kyle? Are you unsure of your sexuality?" As the other students laughed, the teacher went on, "did you know that the people who scream the loudest turn out to be gay themselves?"

Before his historic loss, California Governor Gray Davis signed a sex education law that compels students to "adopt a healthy attitude towards homosexuality." According to Amy Koons at the Capitol Resource Institute in Sacramento, CA, schools are themselves embracing the law on which the ink has scarcely dried.

"I had a distraught mother tell me that her twin sons came home thinking that 70 percent of the population is homosexual," Koons told AIA. An openly lesbian legislator, State Senator Sheila Kuehl, introduced California's new sex education law, which the California teachers' union supported. Kuehl, a former child star, appeared in the television series Dobie Gillis.

In The Homosexual Agenda, Sears and Osten report that the nation's largest teachers' union, the National Education Association, is enthusiastically developing programs to incorporate the gay agenda into public school curricula for children of all ages. Many of them are in place today and have been for some years now.

"GLSEN regularly collaborates with other national education organizations to broaden the reach of our message and materials," the lobbying groups executive director, Kevin Jennings writes in a recent fundraising letter.

"For example, last year we helped the National Education Association-the nation's largest teacher's union with 2.7 million members-pass sweeping new policies directing its members to address lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender issues in their work."

Agendized educators are exploiting the confusion that characterizes normal adolescence, according to Craig and Osten in The Homosexual Agenda. . "As bodies change and hormones rage," the authors explain, youths are told that their feelings may indicate that they are bisexual. Further, heterosexuality is portrayed as being passé, while 'alternative' sexuality is promoted as chic and more likely to result in peer acceptance.

Children as young as kindergarteners are to be informed, according to statements cited in the book, that a "family is a 'unit of two or more persons, related either by birth or by choice, who may or may not live together.'" Further, from a very young age, children must be taught that "all families should be validated" - even those "with no dads, three dads or a 14-year-old mom."

The authors point out that escape from public schools is not necessarily a definitive escape from such indoctrination. The NEA is also trying to have state governments force private schools and even home-schoolers to teach pro-gay and lesbian material if their diplomas are to be recognized as valid.

Organizations such as the aforementioned GLSEN are targeting children for gay advocacy participation, Sears and Osten point out. The book describes a Day of Silence that GLSEN orchestrates every year, wherein students are not to speak. Instead they are to present a card explaining that they will not speak that day in support of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender people.

Children are told that friends and family members who hold that homosexuality is wrong should be considered enemies and treated as such, according to research done by the authors. Alienating children from their family and indoctrinating them in school is a small price to pay if the Homosexual Agenda is to be realized, the authors conclude. Sears and Osten head the Alliance Defense Fund.

There are tons of Homosexual groups which spend tens of millions, and more, lobbying Government, yet they have no "agenda" say some.

Get ready to be pummeled in this thread, because any claim of there being a "Homosexual Agenda" is shouted down around this place.

Oh there are only a handful of gay activists who post on this forum and they are hardly capable of pummelling anyone.

I don't deny that other lobbyists have an agenda.

To suggest that a political LOBBY has NO AGENDA is an insult to anyone's intelligence.

This is a book review. I posted it here, because a fan keeps sending me e-mails venting his anger at the temerity of even reviewing the book. After all, being that they are fascists, they cannot tolerate an alternative point of view.

Here is his dialog. I invited him to continue it here:

Sorry, I probably wasn't clear. Your writings are a rehash of old tactics. For example:

Here you write:

"Organizations such as the aforementioned GLSEN are targeting children for gay advocacy participation, Sears and Osten point out. The book describes a Day of Silence that GLSEN orchestrates every year, wherein students are not to speak. Instead they are to present a card explaining that they will not speak that day in support of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender people."

Years ago, the German party in power at the time wrote:

Jews think it's ok to murder children
"The Jew Lorre in the role of a child murderer. Not the murderer but the victim is guilty, according to this film, which presents the criminal sympathetically, to gloss over and excuse the crime." - Nazi propaganda film, "The Eternal Jew," http://www.holocaust-history.org/der-ewige-jude/stills.shtml

I'm not accusing you of accusing gays of child murder, however, your tactic is a pretty good rehash of tried and true ploys of the past. You don't like gay people so you're going to say they're after the children. Thank you Anita Bryant!

If you'd like a more complete comparison of religious right speech verses Nazi speech, you can look here:

http://www.hatecrime.org/subpages/hatespeech/hitler.html

Some of the quotes are old but they can be easily updated with current quotes from the Religious Reich.

They can say what they want. Homeschoolers are the government of the future. As "war" heats up they may not be able to take the counteroffensive. As demonrats are finding out even the sheeple are turning them off in droves. They cant help but alienate anyone with morals when they embrace perversion.
And I believ in equality and fairness for everyone, but they mess with children and they are asking for the response they get. No more "special interest" privileges!

Ah, but they are after the children. Consider the writing of a very famous ancient Greek (hint: His name begins with 'P' & ends in an 'O') wherein we find lines like - the man lusts for the boy as the wolf for the lamb.

Human nature tends to change at the speed of mammalian evolution - just how much has the "queer qommunity" changed since the ancient Greeks? Arguably, not much.

As already posted, the queers and faggots make up, maybe, 3% of the population. But they cleverly leverage this by careful selection of their enablers such as the NEA and the various state education associations.

I feel for parents of youngsters today. Countering this vicious, never ending onslaught must be tough to do. But, have faith, God will out.

"Children as young as kindergarteners..."

Indeed

"Queering Elementary Education: Advancing the Dialogue about Sexualities and Schooling, Edited by William J. Letts IV and James T. Sears, Rowman & Littlefield Publishers, Inc., 1999, 291 pages"

An excerpt from:

Book Review - Queering Elementary Education: Advancing the Dialogue about Sexualities in Schooling

Progressive Perspectives
Vol. 4, No. 1, John Dewey Project on Progressive Education, Spring 2002
College of Education and Social Services, University of Vermont

"Queering Elementary Education is unique because as it's title suggests it does not apologize for the stance that it takes, nor does it wallow in the problems of being homosexual in a heterosexist society. It is a book all educators should read whether they are elementary school teachers, administrators, or college professors. It challenges assumptions about how we view education and how we view caring for children. Edited by William J. Letts IV and James T. Sears, it offers many perspectives on the various aspects of elementary education and the myriad ways it is heterosexist.

In the first chapter James T. Sears proposes several ideas that appear throughout the book: speaking the unspoken by teaching about queer issues in elementary school, homosexuality as part of the human condition, and asserting that heterosexism and homophobia are acquired or learned beliefs. Bickmore asks, "why discuss sexuality in elementary school?” and answers “given the amount of (mis)information about gender relations and sexuality that flows freely these days in public spaces, media and peer groups, elementary educators could not prevent children from acquiring sexual information even if they wanted to do so"(p. 15). These concepts as well as others are discussed in various ways throughout the book..."

An excerpt from:

Queering Elementary Education - Book Review By Jack Nichols, GayToday.com

"Probably no other title in the pantheon of liberationist literature will evoke more controversy than Queering Elementary Education. If there was an unseemly uproar over Daddy's Roommate and Heather Has Two Mommies, just wait till the Religious Reich spies this august tome on some thoughtful teacher's shelf.

Its editors, both educators, have provided what some see as a companion volume to the award-winning film, It's Elementary. They take it for granted that children in the earliest grades have already been introduced "through schoolyard and media" to the concept of same sex love and affection, that most remain confused about it and that it is best to begin demystification processes early in life rather than allowing mistaken perceptions to take root.

It's Elementary's producer, Debra Chasnof, exults: "What a relief to finally have such a thoughtful collection of essays and research to back up what we've found in schools across the nation... an examination of the ways children's lives are hurt by homophobia and an inspiring array of strategies educators can use to turn this problem around."...

The American Pediatric Association recently called for the teaching of sexuality to begin by the middle of elementary school. Dr. Sears requests that Queering readers remember that "by the time boys and girls have become teenagers they have well-developed gender and sexual scripts: how boys and girls should behave, who makes up a family, and so on. These become our cultural straightjackets that cultivate the homophobia and sexism we see in the adult world."

"Rather than focussing on reducing such prejudices, shouldn't we consider how not to instill, foster, or intensify these prejudices in the first place?" he asks. Queering Elementary Education begins with "Foundational Issues" answering queries such as "Why Discuss Sexuality in Elementary School?".

The book's second section deals with children's sexual and social development, including supposed effects of being taught by openly gay teachers. Part three looks at possible curriculums, examining and critiquing the "heteronormative nature of elementary school science." Part four deals with family ties while the final section examines educators and their allies..."

Ah, but they are after the children.

Even those that are not interested in pederasty are trying to change the minds of the children because those minds are much easier to influence than the minds of adults.

Public Schooling has always been about indoctrination. In a way, that's part of the preservation of the state and not necessarily a bad thing. Teaching our children that the principles upon which our country is founded - as opposed to the principles upon which Saudi Arabia was founded - are good principles is an important part of making them good citizens.

Unfortunately, I'm not sure perversion is one of the principles upon which our country was founded.

Shalom.

'The Gay Agenda is a slick 20 minute documentary style piece offering doctors, scholars and recovered gay men talking about the ills of gay life.' USA Today 'The most shocking video of the year.'

As America stands at the threshold of the 21st century, homosexual leaders have mobilized their forces for a campaign that, if successful, will ultimately lead to the disintegration of the very foundation of our society. Over the past quarter century the so-called 'gay rights movement' has been slowly winning the war against traditional family values.
