Even though several thousand gruesome partial-birth abortions are perpetrated a year, allegedly "Catholic" White House wannabe Sen. John Kerry lives in a fantasy world where they don't exist. Pandering for votes Wednesday night at forum sponsored in Manchester, N.H., by the taxpayer-supported pro-abortion group Planned Parenthood, Kerry claimed "there is no such thing as a partial birth."
Will he tell that to the viable infants who are yanked partly out of the birth canal so their skulls can be punctured?

He's just playing word games. Now ask him if there are "Dialation and Extraction" abortions preformed and watch him squirm. Same procedure, different name.
This was one of the few times the good guys have gotten their name into the public mind. Death Tax is another one. Now we just need to get everyone using the term government school instead of public school.

This should join the list of bone-headed statements that end up discrediting a pol.
A partial list:
Mario Cuomo: There's no such thing as the Mafia.
Gerald Ford: Poland is not dominated by the USSR.
George Romney: I have been brainwashed.

How about Ross Perot's claim that the CIA sent black men to disrupt his daughter's wedding. He knows cause his dog bit off a piece of a black man's backside.

It's amazing to listen to the news trip all over themselves when they comment on it. It's not just "partial birth abortion", it's "the procedure opponents refer to as partial birth abortion." I've noticed that, for the most part, Fox is the only one that doesn't go through these verbal gymnastics when the mention it.

Not surprising that a Rat would try to palm off such a lie. Then again, there is historical precedent. I recall a story of a World War II POW who was being interviewed. He was captured on the field of battle but turned out he had been posted as a guard at an extermination camp earlier in his tour. The interviewer kept pressing him but all he got were statements like, "Konzentration camps?! Ach, nein, herr Leutnant, I never heard of it!"
The capacity of people for self-delusion never ceases to amaze me.

Senator Kerry.
Sen Daniel Patrick Moynihan said that this medical procedure wasn't abortion. He said that it was:
INFANTICIDE!!!!!!

Yes, KarlInOhio, and incredibly so. When the Democratic Press finally conceded to the pro-aborts and agreed that partial-birth was a pro-life term, they still had to use it to describe the procedure for clarity. Where they had simply been referring to it as, "partial birth abortion, " they gradually adopted the description, "a procedure that opponents refer to as partial-birth abortion," and most recently I heard "a procedure that opponents refer to as partial-birth abortion but physicians refer to as dialation and extraction."

And of course, for the all-time #1 statement that discredited a pol:
Bill Clinton: I did not have sex with that woman.
