I wonder if Marc Rich will attend the "Globecoming" to see how his pardon bribe money was used?

The SOB scheduled the opening for Nov. 14-18, 2004.

This way the spotlight goes off of President Bush's reelection win on Nov. 2nd.

I hope Bush is busy rearranging his sock drawer and thus, can in no way, attend.

This is my take on the tour:

Welcome to the Bill Clinton library....
This is the early years....check out Bill watching the American Flag burn....whoops, no, don't look at that...let's move on..
And now, we move on to Bill Clinton as governor of Arkansas.....whoops, no don't look at that, (how did that letter from Juanita Broderick get in here)
Yes, these were the years in which Bill made his most powerful allies....Bloodworth-Thomason, Spielberg, Hanks, Steisand,...whoops, I meant some foreign dignitaries...
And finally, the Presidental room, where all of Bill Clinton's accomplishments are housed....ummm, it's empty???

If somebody down in that neck of the woods hired an airplane to drag a message banner with a pithy anti-Clinton phrase, I'd surely be obliged to help defray the costs. Better yet, skywrite something like: "Better put some ice on that"

Subject: Clinton and Whiteman Air Force Base

Letter to the editor of CNS News.com:

"Regarding the 7 May 2003 news story on Democrat criticism of President Bush's speech onboard the USS Abraham Lincoln, I will remind readers that upon termination of the bombing campaign over Kosovo, then-President Clinton and his cohorts shut down Whiteman Air Force Base for 24 hours, so he could use Whiteman as a backdrop to declare the U.S. air campaign in Kosovo over.
I was there when the White House staff showed up and ordered the construction of a 100 foot stage, the decoration of an entire hangar interior with bunting and flags, the evacuation of a major office space to be used as a pre-reception area, and the evacuation of another maintenance space to be used for press conferences - the complete shutdown of Whiteman AFB to all personnel, including the sequestering of family members on the base.
I also remember the arrival of Air Force 1 at Whiteman. I remember sending a cadre of security personnel to Kansas City Airport to secure Air Force 2.

I remember the arrival of several C-141 transport aircraft carrying the presidential motorcade to take the president from Air Force 1 to a B-2 hangar, to the site of the speech, and then back to Air Force 1 - a total distance of at least a quarter mile.
I remember it most vividly because I was appalled at the treatment the Wing leadership received from the White House staff, and was equally appalled at the fact they brought an armored motorcade to drive him a quarter mile on one of the most secure military installations on the face of the earth.
Messrs. Waxman and Byrd would be wise to recollect this photo op while they criticize President Bush, and may want to ask the OMB to check on how much that little photo op cost.
They would also be wise to recollect the chilly reception President Clinton received. Perhaps that is why they are so bitter. President Clinton would have never been able to pull off what President Bush did. Those sailors who greeted President Bush have a genuine respect for him. Can't make the same assessment of Clinton's photo op at Whiteman AFB."

Excellent suggestion, my friend.

The couple of times that Freeps included either banners carried by planes or signs on boats, there was more press coverage of the Freep. We need clear visuals for the cameras to point at, for us to get clips used in the final, on-air broadcasts about the events.

"Put some ice on that" is short enough for a airplane banner. It also is a good summary of just how depraved and callous and selfish Billy Jeff Clinton was. (With regard to banners behind a plane, we'd need to find out in advance what the security requirements are for this event.) It is also short enough for signs outside the event.

It can also be turned into a chant: "Bill-y-jeff Clinton, Put Some Ice on That."

Maybe FreeRepublic should put a national focus on a Freep of the opening of this "Lie-brary."

The problem for me is that it is too far to go and no time to go if I were able.

I am, however, willing to help with a donation of up to $100.00 if that will help get a Krinton fly-by off the ground. Any flyin' FReepers down that way lookin' for some mischief?

I suppose hurling rotten fruit and the season's last tomatoes in the general direction of the Clinton sperm bank is right out?
