TEN REASONS THERE IS NO ONE IN THE FINEST CAFE

10.
Wolfie sneaked in when no one was looking and ate all the breakfast.

9.
Aeronaut's flight overhead created such interesting contrails,
everyone rushed outdoors to see what shapes they'd form.

8.
There was a run on The Mayor's coffee, and no one else made a new pot.

7.
Nicmarlo thought she would be stuck with washing the dishes, and fled.

6.
Meekie decided to go waterskiing on the lake again.

5.
Calpernia took her children to see Free Willy for the 11th time.....

4.
Mama_Bear is busy baking chocolate chip cookies to send Wolfie.

3.
FreeTheSausages is plotting 5 new ways to irritate The Thin Man next week.

2.
dixie sass thinks Al Sharpton is coming to Charleston,
and went out to purchase a Confederate flag .

1.
MEG33 turned out the lights after she posted,
and visitors thought The Finest Cafe was CLOSED !!

ROFL! That was funny! I'm here. Following terror events.

We are watching the Mujahideen's recruiting site. Here is his latest message:

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Daleel_Al-Mojahid_/message/32

We have a freeper who knows Arabic. She is translating the files he has listed there.

I registered under a throw away Yahoo email and downloaded the files. They are up on my server now.

Her translations to date:

OK... here's a quick summary - I read for content and didn't do a word by word translation - I can read and understand faster than I can translate if that makes sense.

These scare the heck out of me.

Khattab01.zip and Khattab02.zip are your basic physics/electronics/bombmaking 101, complete with quizes to see if you've mastered the material, and cheatsheets/quick reference guides I guess for use in the field. Includes detonators and suicide belts. Yuck.

http://www.goexcelglobal.com/almotafajeraat nesf al7asaasa_6.zip
Again, Chemistry 101 as applied to bombs. The Khattab01 and 02 focus on explosive devices and wiring, this one is on mixing chemical explosives. (Not chemical weapons or poisons.)

http://www.goexcelglobal.com/almotafajeraat aldafe3ah_5.zip
More chemistry 101

http://www.goexcelglobal.com/foy320-rm.zip
A Real Media clip of the Fountain of Youth tourist attraction in Florida from a tour book. Check this out - very strange.

http://www.goexcelglobal.com/making bombs_2.zip
A repeat of the Chemistry 101 files in one zip

http://www.goexcelglobal.com/militiry mind_14.zip
Creepy - basically introduction to guerilla warfare for jihadis

http://www.goexcelglobal.com/deffrent kinds of bombs_15.zip
Drawings and illustrations of various bombs and missiles...

So we are playing detective on terror watch threads :)

Hey .... you need to check out Costco often. If they get great Christmas buys in, they disappear really fast!!

No great buys today but, I did get a couple of small items.

Thought posting those Ten Things would be better than yelling, "FIRE !!"

I've been doing 'chores' all day and evening.

Calpernia, that is very disturbing to read about possible involvement of The Fountain of Youth in St. Augustine with terrorist activity.

It is a remarkable place, contrary to what I thought it would be.
Can't really fathom why they think that would be a good target, except it might be 'easier' to execute than something like Disney World.

Lax security?
Fewer persons to observe them planting something?

Well, with keeping in mind that this is from a 'low level/ranking' mujahideen recruiting site, if any speculation is lent to it at all....I had this thought.

This is from that Groups Photo Album:

Notice the diver? The Fed Alters mention sea attacks too.

The Fountain of Youth National Archeological Park isn't that far from the ocean. May even have a water way in that isn't on the Yahoo Map:

Going to the website you linked, Cal - it is the one and only Fountain of Youth in St. Augustine.

The spring there has a building over it - a planetarium a rock's throw away - statues, etc., and you walk only a very short distance down to the water!

There is a large statue of Ponce de Leon there, and just beyond, supposedly the site where his ships anchored.

It would be VERY easy to approach by any means - boat or plane or a casual tourist on foot making the walking tour.

The crowds were not large, *but" it is located within the city limits! and if a large area were affected - well - - panic and chaos most definitely would be achieved.

Troubling thoughts flow....St. Augustine is a very compact area, full of historic buildings and shops and restaurants and foot traffic.

Just think of all the positive that could come out of harnassing this sick terrorist energy into building and progressing.

Such a wasted life they lead.

Cal, this is a wonderful place to see and to take your children, should you journey down to visit friends at Nova.
(And you, too, SpookBrat, from Jax!)

It is absolutely awesome to see it, as the first place in North America that was declared in the name of our God!

Although undoubtedly the Norse men went to Canada and perhaps farther down, they were not Christians.

Beside the spring (and you get to have a small quantity in a paper cup to drink - the secret of my youthful-for-my-age looks..:)) - in recent years, cleaning around it, a large cross made with stones was discovered, supposedly laid in the sand by Ponce de Leon in 1513. . .

Going to call it a day, and will look for you tomorrow.
Night, Cal . . .
