That is irritating and why I hardly ever watch the news. There are tragic stories in every city and yet some are developed into soap operas and ratings winners. Disgusting.

It would seem that our good friends in the fourth estate (or fifth column) are the ones that have an issue with race and selective coverage...but the press never really reports on itself, does it?

Yep. I thought the media believed in diversity -- yet who's the woman who gets the lion's share of the coverage -- the white girl!
