The 'rats like to believe that a republican snuck into a 'rat office and stole it out of a trash can, but the truth is much worse...for them.

A 'rat couldn't stomach being party to treason, and ratted out his own 'rat boss. He'd had enough. Their greatest fear now is that this leaker could turn whistle-blower on a far greater scale than one memo.

"Nevada Sen. Harry Reid complained on the Senate floor that the memo had been "pilfered" by Republicans then leaked to the media, saying that act was just as offensive as anything revealed by the controversial document."

Which confuses the hell out of me. How does a fine state like Nevada keep electing this piece of crap is beyond me. I just hope Frists backbone holds out over the next month plus.

That would be the ideal to put the miscreants in prison...but it may not get us the judges we support!

Well...who said anything about reconvening the comittee right away...I was talking about simply muffling the uproar and punishments regarding the memo in return for our judges. It is in Faustian realpolitik negotiations, that our Erstwhile Republican Senators need experience with in dealing with the Demoncrats with....the kind that both sides are left bleeding with. Republicans have been bled enough!

If the Dems would rather stay silent and out of the loop, then that should be telling us something. And it would mean that there's something even worse afoot than this memo.

Clarify... do you mean by keeping up there static...the Democrats are planning something worse or by keeping silent?

I think the memo is the least of it. But the memo may be the thread that if pulled unravels the rest of the skein. They only need to stonewall if there's something worse out there that hasn't been uncovered yet.

Let's make some noise! Bury these treasonous bastards now, while their necks are exposed.
Write.

Target: Every Republican in Congress.

Well, the Dems have been hoist by their own petard. If the media stays quiet, no pressure to go back to business as usual and let them back in the loop. The Dems make a stink about being out of the loop, then there's the possibility that pushing the story gets more uncovered than they can afford to let out. Sweet.

Having it written by a staffer and approved by a Senator is bad enough - but if the Senator actually hatched the memo (Hillary) they need to be expelled immediately

Ya know, I smell Hillary in this garbage collection too......

Post 81 is as far as I have read, so maybe this is mentioned further down, but I see the hand of Rick Santorum in this. He is always willing to take the fight to the dems. God bless him.

Here's a letter I just sent to the newsroom of the Baltimore Sun, our "rag".:

Here is what many deem an important development in our government, yet it’s nowhere to be found in the Sun. Why is that? Please tell me it’s not liberal bias or the Sun’s slavish attachment to the Democratic Party. More and more it seems that way to many of us in Baltimore and it does nothing to help the image of the paper as a source of news as opposed to a biased shill for Liberalism.

Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist has temporarily disbanded the Senate Intelligence Committee until committee Democrats reveal the identity of the author of a memo outlining a their plan to politicize intelligence data in a bid undermine President Bush's reelection.
"The Senate Select Committee on Intelligence has been harmed by a blatant partisan attack," the Tennessee Republican said in a floor speech yesterday, concluding that the memo had rendered the committee "incapable of meeting its responsibilities to the United States Senate and to the American people."
"Those responsible for this memo appear to be more focused on winning the White House than they are on winning the war against terror," Frist complained before adding, "There will be no more pulling along and no more useful collaboration on partisan schemes."
Committee Chairman Pat Roberts echoed Frist's decision to shut his committee down, saying, "Unless and until this reprehensible attack plan and strategy to derail the committee's important work is properly addressed, I am afraid that it will be impossible to return to business as usual in the committee."
A committee meeting scheduled for yesterday was canceled, and none has been scheduled for next week, a senior committee staff member told the Washington Post.
Frist also demanded that Democrats implicated in the Memogate scandal deliver "a personal apology" to Sen. Roberts.
Though retiring Georgia Democratic Sen. Zell Miller has called the memo, first leaked to radio host Sean Hannity on Tuesday, "perhaps treasonous," other Democrats circled the wagons on Friday.
Nevada Sen. Harry Reid complained on the Senate floor that the memo had been "pilfered" by Republicans then leaked to the media, saying that act was just as offensive as anything revealed by the controversial document.

Pat ROberts is scheduled to appear on Fox News Sunday this morning -- they appear, still, to be the only news organization covering this story. I sent the entire memo to my local paper and asked them to print it in its entirety, with no commentary, so their readers could review it and come to their own conclusion -- which can only be "political treason" -- which is what I think Ollie North is calling it in his recent article. I love how this site is keeping this story in the forefront; the alternative media will force the liberal elite alphabets to cover this at some point. Keep up the good work. My phone bill is gonna be high this month based on the number of calls I have made to Senators....but its worth every extra penny.
