MEMOGATE INDIRECTION: Rockefeller and Daschle, as we have argued, are decoys, useful idiots, more cutout than cutthroat, less sockdolager than sock-puppet. Rockefeller's too genteel; Daschle's too "concerned." Neither, frankly, has the requisite utter disregard for life. And perhaps most important, (insofar as decoy suitability is concerned), each is sufficiently insipid to ensure insufficient opposition ire.

Put Rockefeller under oath. He won't go down for the clintons. If this is handled honestly, the person who will resign is hillary clinton.

But resignation alone is hardly sufficient punishment for treason. Whoever is involved has put American lives at risk; she/they must be charged with treason and prosecuted.

I find it scandalous that ABCNBCCBS have yet to mention this memo or the disbanding of the intel committee. Does this witch have everybody's FBI file?

Rockefeller thinks he is unassailable. Far from repudiating the memo, he defended it! He thinks that he can keep his office and his position on the Intel Committee, keep on funneling intelligence to HYPOCRAT news outlets (leaking) keep on attacking the President in wartime, keep on compromising troop safety in the name of politics, and he thinks, above all, that nothing will happen as a result of this.

He THINKS he's invulnerable!

I say, he's not.

Thinking about it, could the Clinton's even have cursed our Nation for 8 long years if big media had actually done its job and reported the truth? So true and so sad. To think that the networks would slide on a story that compromises national security, undermines the war effort and endangers our troops is unfathomable. How treasonous of them.

Therein lies the problem.

We know who is openly treasonous (the RATs), but isn't the pattern of consistently feigned ignorance, malfeasance and benign neglect that characterizes the Republicans just as dangerous and bordering on aiding and abetting treason? I have preferred to think of the White House, DOJ and the leadership in the House and Senate as merely trying to walk a 'high road,' but this open assault on the Republic that has gone on for over a decade and has simply become too much to maintain any pretense of civility.

A pig wallowing in it's own excrement is fine when it is safely confined in it's pen. If that pig, however, is doing such things in the home of the farmer (let alone the inner sanctums of our Republic), then I see little reason to make a distinction between the farmer and his swine (or the leadership of the national parties).
