What are those Black and Blue stickers on cars?
Direct Observation | 11//10/03 | Lee'sGhost

I've begun noticing a lot of cars with stickers on them like the red and white "diving" or "diver" flag stickers that have been around for some time. These are basically the same size with the top and bottom bars being black and the middle bard being a dark blue.

Folks have caught on to black helicopters, so now it's non-descript passenger cars that are moving the NWO forward.

Expect a knock at the door any moment.

That's the "Cop Flag", aka the "Thin Blue Line". It means that the owner/driver of the car that bears it is a cop, a member of a cop's family, or is somehow related to cops. In other words, it lets other cops know that the person behind the wheel is on the job and should be given special consideraton.

I've seen that sticker on a lot of cars around here. I thought it meant that the person was either in law enforcement or else a rescue worker or firefighter. It took me quite awhile before I started figuring it out.

Hey, please remove the graphic I inserted. I had no idea the sticker in question had to do with law enforcement, and a bullet hole pic is probably a bad idea. Sorry about that, hope I didn't offedn anyone out there...

"it lets other cops know that the person behind the wheel is on the job and should be given special consideraton."

That's a bit broad. My boss has one on his car because his son-in-law is a police officer. My boss is never "on the job" but I kid him from time to time about having a "get out of jail free" sticker on his car.

I had a feeling that might be it. I had noticed them on a couple of cops' private vehicles.

Thanks.

I'm a cop and I never heard of it. Thanks.

Must be a regional thing.

BTW, stickers, of any kind, don't work very well up here.

If you know anyone on the job, ask them to get you an F.O.P. (Fraternal Order of Police) sticker. My father-in-law got me one and it has helped in a couple of instances.

What are those stickers that have black, blue, and white lines with a red heart? I see those around too?

Don't know what the lines/heart thing is about.
