One fellow e-mailed me quite convinced that Muslims lop off the heads of every infidel they meet.

Let's drop Charley off in downtown Gaza City dressed as an Orthodox Jew and see how long he lasts.

Since they do not wear little colored name tags as to their method of interaction to Infidels we have a problem.

The oldest Christian communities in the world are in Muslim countries. Some of the oldest Jewish communities in the world are in Muslim countries.

Of course these used to be Christian countries, till conquered by Islam. The option then was convert, slavery, dhimmitud, or death. Nice nice folk.

You'll find that they don't fit the stereotypes created by mean-spirited propaganda or superficial news coverage.

Racism is a monstrous injustice because it imposes a stereotype on millions of innocent individuals.

First of all, nearly everyone will admit that there are honest, fair, and descent muslims. It when we factor in the tendency of murderous fanatics to mingle among the sane population that we run into some difficulties.

Having said that, it's not "mean-spirited propaganda or superficial news coverage" that gives muslims a bad name - it's the simple fact that whenever and wherever there is a heinous atrocity commited against civilians, 99 times out of 100 it is done in the name of allah.

By some odd quirk of human nature, you just can't have hundreds of maniacal killers running around the globe dismembering the enemies of allah without it tarnishing the reputation of your religion.

In spite of any shrieking to the contrary, saying such things doesn't make me a racist, because this isn't about race to begin with, it's about religion. Race is genetic, religion is cultural.

Stating that "all Arabs are sub-human" would be racist. Stating that "the religion of the Aztecs was brutal, as they ripped the beating hearts from the bodies of their enemies in an act of human sacrifice" would be a matter of historical fact. (Surely some liberal is rising from his seat, eager to make the point that "not all Aztecs were brutal")

Stating the obvious facts doesn't make one a racist or a bigot, only a target for those who refuse to see the truth.

They only differ regarding sin, salvation, God, destiny, law, grace, faith, scripture, authority ...

Charlie goes on about the innocent, moderate middle of the road Muslims but no where does he do the same for Americans.

If those sort of statements about "all" muslims are reprehensible and racist, what then about the Islamics
view of Americans, you would think he could see the inherent racism of the muslims, but that doesn't seem to enter into the equation.

I wouldn't have had any problem with the article if the author had laid it out like you did. You can't blame the majority for the behavior of the minority, but you can blame the screwed up "religion" that encourages them.

In that respect, Muslims are much like Southern Baptists, only more so.

Last Sunday, I listened closely, but didn't hear our Pastor demand we eliminate the Jews, cut off Infidel heads, and drive bomb-laden cars into the nearest pizzeria or Red Cross building! Maybe I wasn't listening closely enough?

Many Muslims are no doubt personally hospitable and would give you the lamb off their rack. That's beside the point. I'm sure a friendly evening with Himmler would have included fine Mosel wine, the best bratwurst, and Mozart!

If Charlie wants to ask a question to test the true hospitality of his hosts, he should ask them where in their Muslim community he can distribute his tracts on Jesus and salvation and preach the Gospel. My bet is, he won't be eating any more leg of lamb - he'll be running for his life!

Sadly the liberals believe what our enemies believe, that there are no good Americans. (including and particularly themselves.)

Liberals believe that collective punishment is justified when used against us (we must all pay for the sins of the christians, neocons, rabid right wing facists,and jews) but not for Islam, or Palestinians or socialists or anyone else.

I can't seem to remember when I last saw an article that said, "Islam should only attack those Americans that are oppressing and holding back the arab community, there are good Americans and we should not hold them accountable for what is happening in the Umma."
