Right, then. This should get interesting. Please explain how an increase in the PPI (in the name of "fair" trade) will benefit the economy. Unless you see arete typing "we're doomed" over and over again as a benefit.

I believe that having good paying jobs available to people is good for the economy. If this causes a rise in the PPI the so be it.

No, I am in IT. I do however have friends and family in manufactoring. But that is not why I say this. I believe we need decent paying jobs to maintain Americas security and standard of living.
