These things have become common in France and Chirac doesn't really care. Muslims are important to french politicians and jews are liked liked by the liberal elite there.

I honestly don't know, but I do know this is precisely why having a strong, safe, secure Israel is so important. There must always be a Jewish state for Jews to have refuge in.
