The inauguration of Gov. Schwarzenegger will ring down the curtain on the Bay Area's influence in Sacramento for some time to come

In the recall election, the Bay Area voted overwhelmingly for continued economic ruin. If Arnold denies them pork, he is merely giving them what they voted for.

Conservatives, reclaim the Bay Area!

Move to Sausalito and create a hostile environment.

Get your earmuffs out...

Seems kind of unfair that San Francisco will participate in the coming economic recovery, doesn't it? After all, its residents have done everything in their power to prevent it from happening.

California went through a 5-year period, starting in 1998, as a functionally 1-party state, with Democrats winning big not only in the traditionally liberal Bay Area, but throughout Southern California and in most coastal counties.

Hence the PROBLEM resulting in the current state of California.

My parents, grandparents, and great grandparents were all Democrats.

My children and their spouses--three of whom are northern Californians--are all Republicans.

Well cry me a river o' tears.

What'll be interesting is to see how SF's bloated homeless industry will fare in the coming years.

We would love to move to Sausalito. Unfortunately, we can't afford it. I love Sausalito!

Note also that California's Seniletors are from that area: Feinstein from SF and Boxer from Marin county.
