US: SADDAM'S DEPUTY BEHIND ATTACKS
Sky News ^ | 11/17/03

Posted on 11/17/2003 10:03:47 AM PST by areafiftyone

The US Army claims to have evidence that Saddam Hussein's deputy, Izzat Ibrahim, is behind some of the recent attacks on Coalition forces inside Iraq.

It comes as the US military confirmed that two soldiers had been killed in attacks north of Baghdad.

In relation to Ibrahim, Brigadier General Mark Kimmitt said: "We are getting more intelligence that suggests he was directly implicated in the killing of some Coalition soldiers."

Well, well, Izzy the Redhead! He needs to understand something rather important. To quote John Gotti, "...he is a dead man". Nothing can or will save him. And nobody cares, certainly not his own comrades. And he has himself, and his glorious maximum leader, Saddam Hussein, to thank for it.

geraldo had a good segment about this guy last night on his show. we are supposedly negotiating with this guy for his "surrender", more like a deal with him to break up his participation in organizing resistance.

Knock it off!

Montgomery was no sissy on the battlefield and the Brits are your staunch allies in this fight so I think an apology is order...

The only problem with Monte was, other than being a sissy, was that he was too much Von Clauswitz, and too little Patton.

You mean he should have been a loud mouthed, anti-semite bully instead of a thoughtful and educated man??

I agree with you that the Brits are our allies but Montgomery was a very poor operational planner Think Dieppe and the Invasion of Holland. Both debacles and both planned by Monty.

Both Monty and Patton were somewhat flawed individuals, What I objected to was the equating of one (or either, for that matter) to an Iraqi mass murderer
