I REST MY CASE:
Leonard Nimoy DOT Albums

A fond salute to the Enterprising spirit of Leonard Nimoy

"Maiden Wine"

We have been getting so many accolades lately that we've had to create a separate page for them all.
Anyone who wishes to review us will find their LINK here.
Thanks to everyone who has come by...

Ya know, people make fun of Leonard Nimoy's recording career. OK, so he wasn't the greatest singer in the world but he has recorded more albums than the Beatles. I get tired of him being put down. Sure it's easy to scoff but he worked hard at recording these works. In recent years he has actually made some very good albums, distanced from the "pop variety" he made in the 60's & 70's. As you read through the reviews you might notice some of the DOT Reviews are less-than-kind. Well, let's face it, the albums were pretty bad. I saved William Blakney's original reviews and have only added to them, so the tone can be a little harsh.

As I've said to many who have written to critisize the reviews, Hey if we can't make fun of our heroes who can we make fun of?

Enjoy the site.

I have the White Album CD on my Christmas List. "Fixing A Hole" is one of my favorite songs. Don't know why; it's sort of plaintive, but I just love it. That one, and "Eleanor Rigby" are my favorites.

Fans of the Rock - Hear me now and believe me later. A year from now eveyone will know about this new British band - The Darkness, album - Permission to Land. If you like AC DC, Queen, Rush, etc buy this CD. There's not a bad song on it. Some say this band is the savior of rock! Some say it's the best album in the last 20 years!

I bet you the Bee Gees, aren`t even mentioned in this list. To me they are the most under-rated band I ever knew and the backlash against them for the disco thing the most unfair. First off, not even talking about all the other hits they wrote for other artists, songs that most people would be quite suprised about, the disco backlash was just another example of what happens when morons rule the day, like when Demon-crats get into power. I mean let`s put it in a nutshell; Protests broke out at the end of the `70`s early 80`s against disco. They had "No Bee Gees day" on radio stations and record burnings, and the famous record burning at that baseball park. And what did they replace it with? MTV which played disco, but badly. So we replaced disco with worse disco. Yeah ok. All I know is if a band today came even close to writing one song that was of the quality of those Bee Gee ones, they`d win every freggin` award known to man, and they`d stretch it out into a 15 year career, yet even to this day, the most recent albums from the Bee Gees are still all but banned from the radio even when Maurice died. And let`s not even go into the rap albums that sample the Bee Gees on a regular basis.
